i cant get any view

I'm at 100%, have fulfilled all the requirements and my store collections aren't getting any views.  I also have a Zrank of 4, which isn't the worst but....   I've always been largely good at designs (I think

), but struggle with marketing.  I don't believe I am doing anything really wrong but the problem persists.  Here's my store address: https://www.zazzle.com/store/stakingfire/products.  In any case, I'm committed to this.

You need a lot of work on your tags. Remember, tags should be reflecting the words customers use when searching, so you should look at your picture and imagine what words a customer might put into the search box and that find your product. You have a maximum of 10 words and/or phrases that you can use. Try to use all ten. For instance, you have only three tags for your panda mousepad--actually, only two because one of them is "mousepad," which Zazzle already adds to the title. So, you have just "panda" and "scary." What does the panda remind you of? War? The heat of battle? Look at your description (which isn't used for a customer's search) and transfer some of the key words you've used there into your tags.

I checked one of your products at random--"Lion's Glory"--and found that you aren't separating your words, which means you've essentially wiped out any tags you might have had. For instance, "lionart" isn't a real word. If you want it as a tag, you'd have to enter it this way, including the quotes: "lion art" not lionart. Tags on Zazzle aren't the same as the hashtags used on social media where you can eliminate spaces between words. Here, they must be legitimate words that customers would type into the search box. No customer would ever type lionart into the box. Put spaces between words where there's more than one word, and enclose those words with quote marks.

the problem is it always take the first word only

You have to put quote marks around it when there are two or more words. The quotes will keep the words together but separated by spaces.

the words also i cant separate it

To expand on what Barbara wrote:

  • Use all 10 tags
  • None of the tags should be the name of the product
  • think like a customer, what are some possibilities they might type in a search bar to find your product

Barbara gave some examples from your panda going into war so I'll look at the Egyptian things since I do many Egyptian things myself. You have used egyptian and pharaoh in these designs but that's it. You need more. How about egypt? Or the names of pharaohs such as Ramses or Tutankhamun. One of them is a woman. Nefertiti? Or maybe she is Hatshepsut or Cleopatra? Then there's colors: gold, golden, yellow, vibrant. And these are all portraits so you could say portrait.

Also: make sure none of your gaming designs are of actual characters from actual games. That would be a copyright violation.

can you suggest me some tags according on my design

From your post there I expected a store chock full of designs, but when I got to your store, there's hardly anything there. It's like walking into a brick and mortar and finding most of the shelves are empty. "Come into my store, I have 5 designs" is not a strategy or a reasonable hope of success. Also, re-think the t-shirts with the designs in a rectangle. That is, find another way to frame those, the rectangle slapped on a t-shirt isn't really showing off the design. The ones with ravaged borders are much more modern and attractive. Ditto what else people said.

can you send me the link?

Hi, here on zazzle, your product should be customizable

how ?

Hi. I would suggest searching for similar designs on Zazzle, click on the most popular, and scroll to the bottom of their pages to see what keywords they have that customers are using to find those items (only the ones in blue). If they are relevant to your design, you may want to add them to your own keywords. Also, see what "zazzle" suggested search terms come up right away at the top horizontally on the page of your initial search. *From what I understand, titles and tags are critical; they are the main avenue for customers to find you in the huge sea of products on the net. Good luck! Cheryl

One correction: The hot-linked tags are more for search engines than the Zazzle marketplace where all tags are searchable. Zazzle told us about this a number of years ago, and I assume it's still like that.

i will try

I spend time on seo and I'm not gaining any traction on this platform either. Been submitting a few products a week since Feb, no views or sales, it's frustrating. I'd be interested to know if any new contributors are having luck?  It seems most the active people who comment and are successful selling have been on here for years.

@JDWFoto  - I tried looking at your store through your link. There are no stores open. Have you made your store/products ACTIVE?

JDWFoto
New Contributor III

hey, that's weird. I didn't actively do anything one way or another but I assume it's active, how would I find that out? I'll email support about that too, thanks for noticing. Here's a link: https://www.zazzle.com/store/jdwfoto

Go to your store, click on Settings, and right at the top, you'll see the Private setting. If it's checkmarked, uncheck it.

yes

@JDWFoto: I went to see some of your products, clicked on Stores, and no stores are reported. Have you made it or them private? I did, however, see your collections, and the one thing I noticed is that you're doing mainly patterns, which might be your problem, given that patterns are extremely common on Zazzle. I've been here since 2014 and have never, as far as I can remember, been able to sell a pattern, though I had them. I eventually got rid of them and focused on niches: music, cooking, my own ink drawings, out-of-the-way professions, and so forth. That's when I began selling. Thinking along those lines might help you, too. And by the way, the average time for starting to sell is at least several months, often up to six months, so don't get discouraged.

Hey @Barbara Thanks those are some good ideas! Patterns are fun but maybe not the best for POD.

I'm not sure what is going on with my store, it is not listed as private and support is telling me it's active as well...sometimes after I upload a new product the store acts funky.

Barbara
Esteemed Contributor

Did you check the exact spot I mentioned - on Settings? I'm pointing this out because sometimes the Zazzle folk misinterpret what they're being asked, probably because they have lots of incoming. However, if Private has no checkmark, then something sure is wrong.

@Barbara I just double checked in settings and private is not checked. That's part of what I mean,  I feel like Zazzle is making it harder for new contributors for some reason. Thanks for your help!

@JDWFoto

Your store is definitely public. It just does not appear on your Member Profile page. Try this.
Go to your Member Profile page. Click on Advanced Settings from the left-side menu.
Add "Stores" to the Visible Sections and then below that, check the box that you want it displayed on your public profile.

@JDWFoto  I can access your store through the link you provided, but as Barbara states, there are no stores listed when we try to access through the Avatar link on these posts. If you go to my avatar link/Profile/BKMuir on Zazzle. you should see 6 different stores. All of these have been "pinned" - this allows me to switch between stores from the banners at the top of each store (not certain that you would see this). It might be something to try.

@BarbaraDo you have any non-pinned stores?

Barbara
Esteemed Contributor

@BKMuir: I have only one store and it's pinned, though why it's pinned is beyond me unless it's a hangover from when I had three stores.

@JDWFoto: It seems we're all coming up with zero. Maybe your best bet is to post a new thread about this in the Technical forum because your issue is separate from this thread, and it sure looks like a bug.

@stakingfire @ColsCreations  - I think ColsCreations has solved your problem. I checked my settings and see the STORES set for VISIBLE SECTIONS.

Barbara

The products I just now checked have all their tags properly done. Good work!
