Ideas & Suggestions Board Doesn't appear in the drop down list when Posting to the Forum

I tried to post something to the Ideas & Suggestions board, but when I created my post, I couldn't find the board in the drop down list. At first I thought maybe I had just imagined that board, so I posted my comment elsewhere. But then I saw that other people were posting to the board so I figured I hadn't just imagined it and that board really must exist!

Anyhow, I figured out the problem. In order to post to that board, you have to go to it from the drop down menu under "creators" because it no longer appears in the drop down list on the general new message screen. I think maybe it disappeared when the new collections board got added? Anyhow, it's not on the list now...

Not totally sure how the forums are sorted in that menu, but maybe try clicking on the "Show all" option at the bottom?

Honestly, I'm not a fan of this sort of flow (add a subject, then choose the forum). What page were you on? I think I'd just prefer to eliminate the page altogether. Going to the respective forum + posting seems more straightforward I think.

I know this has already been answered but I'd never seen this option before either so also wondered what page she is on. So for anyone reading this thread in the future, it's this page, and clicking "Start a Conversation" gives you the drop down to select a board as shown in the screenshot.

For anyone struggling with navigating the "new" forum, this is a better/easier page to start on. It's just like the "old" forum with a list of all the sub-forum categories to view and browse the threads within.

Hmmm... apparently there are about a zillion different paths through this forum, most of which I don't ever visit. Actually, the page I use is this one: Explore - Zazzle

I like being able to see the newest conversations without having to visit the individual boards - which I find cumbersome.

I see what's happening. The Ideas & Suggestions board is a different style than the rest (it's a special type so that we can gather data on suggestions more easily), and that page you're using only shows the standard "forum" style discussion boards.

Unfortunately, not much that I can do in the near-term here since we do want the "start a conversation" button to be present in the top menu.

OK - well I'll just make a mental note that I have to go to that forum first in order to post to it. Honestly, I don't ever visit the individual forums - I usually just visit the "explore" page, so I tend to forget that they're there! Not sure what that says about me, but just giving you a heads up that if you eliminate the "start a conversation" button you might get a few folks panicking! 😃

I knew when this forum first started there was a page like that listing most recent conversations and I remember thinking that's why so many people were saying they were having a hard time finding their way around, because they were probably using that page and not the main forum list page. But I was unable to find such page last night so thought Z did away with it. Obviously they didn't and not that it matters but now I am curious where the link to that Latest Conversations lives.
