I made another few letterpress cards for Christmas last week and they still haven't been approved.
I do wonder if they will get reviewed in the next few days tops, as after that it won't probably matter for the appending Christmas Holiday.

I have some sitting since 11/20. Totally understand that Zazzle staff is dealing with holiday overwhelm, but at this point it feels like creating letterpress cards was a waste of time for this holiday season. I only have a handful that were reviewed. It's a shame because the product/printing process looks really beautiful.

Unfortunately, the letterpress cards were introduced quite late in the season, especially given the required design-approval process. If designers had been able to create letterpress products back in September or even October, it would have benefitted everyone involved. Many of us prioritized holiday designs as requested, but it appears the volume of approvals required for this launch was more than the team was able to keep up with this season.

I only created two letterpress holiday cards. The first one was approved, then disappeared out of my shop and my saved files. I resubmitted it, and it seemed to be approved, but I can’t find it on the Zazzle marketplace.
My second design has been listed as pending for 2-3 weeks.

I only created one - just to test the waters. But it's been sitting there waiting for review since November 18. It is a tad bit annoying that they implored us to make holiday cards and then can't get them approved in time for holiday sales. Guess I'll focus on something else.

Yeah definitely a bummer watching ones from 11/18 just sitting there waiting. Especially since those are mostly just color changes from ones that were already approved.

My answer is not exactly a solution to your problem, but what you can do as you are not sure to be approved for this year is transfer your design on standard holiday cards and/or gold silver foil cards. So that your work spent in illustration and design has still a chance to be seen by customers this season. And you’ll always be able to offer the real letterpress cards next year. I started to do it on mine and thought that the result was not bad at all, because taking into account all the constraints of letterpress printing obliged me to design cleaner, simpler cards, and they look good like this.

That is a very good idea. I thought about it myself last week, I planned to do it then I forgot :)) Hope I'll still find them in Saved Design section. Thanks!

If you don’t, you can duplicate them in « under review » , but unfortunately it doesn’t keep the titles, descriptions and tags…

That is how I found them, in 'under review'. But because of the special format that the letterpress cards had, I can only transfer them into foil cards. But that's better than nothing.
