Is there a way to lock layers on an iPad? Clicking and holding shows the lock symbol but it disappears quickly.

I couldn’t find a way to get it to lock either. I love working on my iPad but there are still a few things I have to start my computer up for 😕

Yes you can @Fancyjancy @OrchardBerry if you place your IPencil on the layer and hold it there for a second it should lock. Then do the same if you want to unlock it again. Hopefully this will work for you too as it does for me.

Glad that worked OK for you 😊 Ah indeed … dragging and dropping to rearrange within collections … I do that on my desktop!

It's not possible to rearrange collections through use of a touchscreen. My workaround is to remove an item from the collection and add it back again, which places the item at the top of the collection. I find this useful when I want to mix up the products a little, but for a full scale rearrangement, I do have to make a rare trip to the desktop.
I also do Postcrossing!

Thanks so much for your help! Yes, I can get it to lock with my pencil but then when I click done and return to the design, it shows as unlocked. Does yours remain locked?

You’re welcome! Yes it does stay locked but is quite sensitive and easily undone if you accidentally touch the layer again. Try quickly double clicking on the layer to lock it - hopefully that might stick better? 🤞
