Lots of Spammers in the Forum

Just wondering what's up with all of the spammers in this forum. I don't recall this being an issue with the old forum. Is this one open to the public in a way that the old one was not?

Yes, this forum is open to the public. I see two spammers. Reported both. I am guessing the mods who handle that kind of request are stationed in the US and not at work today because of President's Day.

I naturally assumed the forums were not private.  I'm still waiting for the private forums to return.  I've missed our private discussions the other designers and artists here have always been able to have.

I hope it remains public, I don't like signing in every time I want to see what's happening in the forum

You must not have been at Zazzle yet, Cat, when Scott had to change all our usernames to show as Zazzler because of all the troll spammers.

I thought the reason forum member names became "zazzler" was because for some reason real names were showing in the place of usernames

Yes, as I recall this Everyone's Called Zazzler change came about when it became possible to sign in to Zazzle through Facebook or other accounts.

Is better this way; cause as the other was only among designers promoting was lower.
