Low sales

It may just be me or maybe the world is focused on the EU war, but my sales are almost zero.  Anyone else feeling the impact of the economy with low sales?

Yes, I am sure that the current crisis in Europe has a large say in the state of (low) sales.

My sales are about like usual. Several days with no sales at all, and the days where I make several in one day. Things slowed way down after Christmas, which is to be expected, but now they are back up to normal. Hope I didn't just jinx myself 😉

Hi folks,

As there is no technical issue present here, I will be moving this thread to General Zazzle Discussion.

Many thanks,

Runaway inflation sure isn't going to help those of us catering to products that aren't necessities.

Yeah... like since start 😉 Every year is worse and worse, everywhere. Guess nothing can be done. Life

Very low sales. What is happening in Ukraine is horrific. I hope the world can deal with Putin swiftly.

Yeah... let's hope so it is getting bad, we took 500000 refugees (kids and women) in just 8 days, yet it is just a little part. Poland will try to help, but if it turns to like 5mln people or more I have no idea where we will put them, future looks are grim 😕

I almost started a topic on this a couple of days after the war began, then thought better of it bc I figured it might be too soon....  But I, too, am finding that especially Euro views on products are way down - likely because they are focused on war in Europe.  Makes sense.

My low sales started last month (prior to Ukraine / Russia issues).  My January was the best January I've had in 11 years.  February was pretty bad and March is not looking much better so far.

Glad to hear you had a great January!

I generally see a sale a day on Zazzle, but have had no sales now for about the last five days.

My Redbubble and TeePublic shops have also been unusually quiet this last week, so it seems to be an 'across the board' downturn.

If I had to guess, it might be concerns over Ukraine, inflation and gas prices. Also may be that the beginning of March is a turning point between seasons when people aren't yet buying for summer.

Regardless, it does seem unusually quiet right now and I hope it recovers shortly.

If it's any consolation, I'd be dancin' around this place if I had a sale every single day!  😛

Hope you don't mind, but I had a quick look at your shop; you've got a lot of nice stuff.

One thing that did come to mind is that given 50% of your users are on mobile devices, having 24 top level category thumbnails - which will typically be 4 pages to scroll through on a smartphone, could be a barrier to entry?

Interesting MadJack.  So...you think I should not show the category thumbnails...just a listing of products?

For me, it isn't just sales; even VIEWS are down as the world focuses on UKR.

Haven't got a single sale for the past one week. Very unusual. Is it the same for others too?
