Options for Scarves?

Not sure where to ask this. Why is there no way for the customer to change the color of the edge of scarves?  Is there some way to change it so that the final buyer can choose a different color? Perhaps I am missing something, Is there an option when creating them that I have to check so that the customer can choose a different color? Sometimes all three choices look good and in the long run the customer should be able to choose which they prefer. Seems like overkill to add different scarves, each with a different color edge?

Funny timing, I was creating some products, so decided to create a scarf so that I could reply.
Here goes:
While creating a chiffon scarf small black> I see these choices hem thread color> black,white,light gray, dark gray

After posting, I see that the customer can select these choices>hem thread color> black,white,light gray, dark gray

Wow, It must be my browser. I have not had the choices for the customer as long as I can remember. I even tried incognito window so I wouldn't be logged in to the account and there was no choice. Of coarse I didn't actually look at any by other sellers. I will have to check. The browser I use is Chrome I am going to check in Firefox now.  -----   

Ok I checked in Firefox and mine does not allow the hem color choices but when I looked at someone elses the color choices were there. This is a weird one. FIGURED IT OUT

I have selected only use square or rectangle because of the pictures. This is what is causing the hem color choices not to work. I don't choose the option 'this thread style only'  so I don't understand why it is causing the hem color choices to be blocked. I guess I should just leave the option open to all but all images will not fit on both.

Well, while you were figuring it out, I clicked your link. I wrote my answer and hit reply and the forum dog ate it. 

so,writing it again.  I clicked on your link, using Firefox, and no hem choices.
I think it probably has to do with what you are doing when creating the product.

Yes it is because of choosing to use only one shape. This should not be happening. I wonder if it is happening to everyone?   lol on 'forum dog' never heart that one before 🙂

I made it up, forum dog ate my reply is my version of the dog ate my homework.
the scarf I used was— small square black. I just checked your same  link again, and still no options. I don’t think it’s your browser tho. I am Firefox and Mac.
went and changed mine to long, then longer, both maintained options choice. So that isn’t the problem, afaik.

@kashmier Yes, I have noted this and reported it in the past in the old forum. It happens when square only or rectangle only is selected. Got the standard response that it would be passed on to the team, but it hasn't been corrected.
