Sales down or just weird?

For the last couple months I’ve been usually getting a sale at least once a week and the few weeks leading up to Christmas I was getting sales pretty much every other day or so. The last nine days I have gotten nothing. Has anybody else experience this? Was the Christmas rush over that early?  Just curious.

my sales have steadily dwindled and have been the worst year for me yet

I squeaked in roughly the same annual royalties as last year, and roughly the same Q4 royalties as last year. Still disappointing considering that I added a lot of new products, did more product and niche research before I created any new products, was more active in marketing on social media, and had large sales support from family and friends.

The Christmas rush is over. 😞

Most of the 'order by' dates have passed for items related to Christmas gifting or cards if they wanted to arrive by the 24th. They were already on the 'expedited shipping' needed to arrive on time the past few days. My guess is even before that people would have been worried about items printing and arriving on time for a few of the days prior to that.  It started to slow about a week ago for me as well, this week for sure.

It could depend on what kinda of niche you cater to, if you do mostly seasonal then there are lots of people who don't wait til the last minute because of shipping and what not. Plenty of people who DO wait till the last minute but don't wanna chance something not arriving before Christmas.

My last sale was the 13th but I dont do seasonal either.

We are now in ´´dead´´ season, when everybody has bought their Christmas presents and is ready to celebrate;) Happy Christmas!

As the others have said December is typically a bit dead - people don't want to order for Christmas now, when it's likely too late to get things by the 25th. They did their ordering mostly in November. Interestingly I've been getting a lot of non-seasonal sales though.. they are in a niche that is not holiday related, so that's been nice.

Christmas sales are dwindling, time to start promoting products for the new year, calendars, Super bowl, Valentines Day.
