Sales Down

My sales have gone down by 50-60% since August. Not sure what is happening or if this is typical for the end of the year. Is anyone else experiencing this? I used to see ads running for my products across Pinterest and Facebook and I haven't seen much of that lately. It seems like it all started going downhill when the collections feature changed, but that could be a coincidence.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Mine are dropping too.  August through October are typically slower months for me so I didn't think much of it then. But November is usually one of my best months.  It's very different this year. I'm not sure what's happening.

Hi kim, I've Made the same post month ago, and there's is some good feedback insights about the the current quiet sales situation, you can find it here: https://community.zazzle.com/t5/general-zazzle-discussion/quiet-sales-turning-the-tide-on-zazzle/m-p...

Thank you, @Maddy1 . This is my first full year on Zazzle and my sales have gone up every month until August, when they started going down. Every month since has gone down. I was getting 100 orders on some days in July and in November there have been days where I only get like 20. November has always been a little slower for me on Etsy, since I don't sell a lot of Holiday cards or gift items, but not 60% slower.

I think there are more and more designers selling on Zazzle and a lot of my designs have been copied. Not the exact same, but definitely similar. One of my bestselling invitations has like 10 different copies made by different designers. Super frustrating because I see ads for these items created by Zazzle. Not much I can do, just keep designing I guess and hope the next design lasts long enough to bring in sales before it is copied a ton.

I am super grateful for Zazzle and having a platform to sell my designs, just hoping things get moving again.

Your resilience in the face of challenges is truly commendable. It's disheartening to hear about the decline in sales, especially in a platform like Zazzle where creativity should thrive.

Considering the issue of copied designs, have you explored reaching out to Zazzle's support? They might be able to provide insights or take steps to address the concern. It's crucial for platforms to protect the originality of their creators.

Now, regarding the slowdown in sales, it's unfortunate that November has been slower than expected. Have you noticed any changes in the platform's advertising strategy during this period? It seems like a good time to raise this concern with Zazzle's support or community forums. Perhaps there's an opportunity for the platform to invest more in promoting the unique creations of its talented community.

Your dedication to designing is an asset, and it's only fair to expect that the platform reciprocates that commitment with robust support and promotion. Here's to hoping that your voice, combined with others in the community, prompts positive changes on Zazzle.

Mine are down too... and it's disappointing, as my expectation was to see an increase in the sales at the end of the year. I haven't thought about the change in the collections... it could be, as well as it can be a coincidence. My personal belief is that everything that's happening around the world is impacting people and they just don't feel like buying personalized products.

hey lais, I feel you on the disappointment with the sales downturn. It's tough when expectations meet a different reality, especially towards the end of the year when we usually anticipate a boost.

Your insight about global events impacting consumer behavior is valid. The world has been through a lot lately, and it makes sense that it could influence people's buying habits. It's a reminder that our creations often reflect the current zeitgeist, for better or worse.

As we navigate these uncertainties, perhaps considering subtle shifts in design themes or exploring different niches might resonate better with the current sentiments. Stay creative, stay adaptable, and let's hope for a positive turn in the tides for all of us.

Same here. Drastically lower than last year for many products despite some still having similar search rank in the MP as before.
