How do you know for sure your store is being seen by the customers and other zazzle creators?

The best way is to search for your own stuff in the marketplace. Your products are definitely there, but the hard part of the business is to figure out how to get a customer to find them. Like with knowledge of your shop, I can type "sport your best look" and your hoodie is there, but that's my targeted intentional search. A customer won't think to look up that specific phrase, so what is it going to take for a customer to find it? Is it an inspirational phrase, or a well-known quote? Is it a sports pun? You've got to try to target that sort of information in your title, description, and tags, cause those broader concepts are what they're browsing for. Figuring this out is the hard part. 

Be sure to work on that metadata, because that's the only way your product can be found. I didn't intend to get off-topic critical, but since I randomly chose that particular hoodie, none of the info you have on it is going to help turn up your product. Don't describe the product itself; we know it's a hoodie and Zazzle has that part covered already. Tell the search engine about the design. It's a "typography design." It's an "inspirational quote." That sort of thing. (I'm just guessing at useful tags; you need to research what's most helpful.)  The tags and the title are the only clues the search engine has to work with, so make sure those are solid and useful. The search engine doesn't currently read the product description, but that's the only clue the customer has to know what "sport your best look" is. Tell them what it means and why they want it.

That article says that Google pays heavy attention to the description.

Yes, I meant the internal Zazzle Search engine in the above paragraph; Zazzle isn't pulling keywords from the description for their search function. But when Google and friends are indexing these pages, they'll be looking at all the text on the page, so the description is very important as the main thing we can contribute to distinguish us from hundreds of otherwise identical product pages.  It's why we should also strive to use unique descriptions even when posting the same design on different products.

With the extra grungy font you’ve chosen to use on many of your designs, your products are essentially invisible. The text is unreadable on the thumbnail, and still unreadable when I zoom in on my phone (where most customers shop).

That’s an easy fix; choose a different font. Having a clear thumbnail is more important than using ultra-stylized text. Make your design clear, and your text clearly readable.

And those potential customers who don’t know what ISD is have no reason to buy your products, much less visit your shop. Why would customers want to go around advertising your brand? They are looking for personalized products that express their own unique style or views. Your current business plan does not fit the average Zazzle customer.

 

The font is intenional and meant to be designed in that way on purpose. Not all fonts are going to look in 3D when reduced down in size. It's part of my brands identity. 

Brand is everything. I not only operate as just a creator here on zazzle, I'm the actual artist and owner of my own brand, ISD, Incomparable Sports Design LLC.

Nobody buys without a connected brand name attached to the product. We are all brands. That's what seperates us all as unique creators.

Sure people aren't familiar with the ISD brand, but that does't mean it should not exist. Google does'nt lie.

A lot of people will miss out on a good product because they didn't take the time to learn about a brand. That's ok. The right ppl won't.
