Signed up in 2013 but left it empty, and now 10 years later adding products, is that bad for sales?

Hey all,

Quick question, I initially signed up in 2013 but never added anything, focused on stock advertising instead of POD and now slowly adding to my old account. I've only been on here a month but not gaining any traction, like getting no views or anything...Should I delete my old account and start a fresh one or does that not really matter?

Thanks

I don't know this for a fact, but I doubt your long hiatus has anything to do with your sales. Right now, many of us here have had our sales totally tank, doubtless to do with the wretched economy, so your lack of sales may have to do with poor timing. Another thing I don't know for a fact is that, if anyone is still selling, it's most likely those who do wedding suites. I checked your store and was surprised to find practically no photography. Do you do much travel photography, scenes that denote specific places that customers might like on postcards? I've done some sales in that arena, though not recently, but it's a thought.

Take a look at what's in Z's marketplace. It might give you an idea of products to make.

Hey thanks for the response.  Nice shop, you have a wide variety of products! Yeah true, it's tough time economically.

I'm still debating how much photography I want to add on here. Postcards are a good idea though, I'll add some. I've always liked photo postcards, it's good to know people are still buying them! The invitations and cards seem to be worth the time plus other things that would be bought together in bundles.

Hope your sales pick up soon!

Travel photography also does well on Christmas ornaments as long as you put in the location of the photo. People apparently use it as an after-the-fact souvenir.

And of course postcards with location of the photo. I had a bulk order of those from what I am guessing was for resale in a souvenir shop.

Nice, thanks for the tips!

I signed up in 2015, did a few products, and left it for years.  Just started up again - seriously - about 3 years ago with the same account.  I've had no issues.
