Am I the only one getting multiple spam messages a week now in Chat? I never used to get them, now it is every other day. I report and block, but each time it is a new person. All claiming to be marketers and promoters.

I received 2 more new ones this week. They are a nuisance, for sure!

I'm getting multiple too, I reply 'spam' then hit 'report' and if they respond again... 'block'.

No bigger deal than it is anywhere else. report and block. rinse and repeat. Takes what 10 seconds.

I get them, too. I don't answer them. Also beware - for artists, there's a type of scammer who asks for a custom design. Seems normal at first, but then wants to send you details through email. Then you'll get a too-good-to-be-true offer with red flags all over the place like misspellings and strange wording. I think the chats will continue to evolve into more sophisticated scams - proceed with caution!

I don't do anything with zazzle customers 'off' zazzle. They often ask for stuff via email or to communicate via email, but I state I only reply via Zazzle chat. That way it's all on Zazzle's system, should any problem arise.

I just had another of those scammer-preditor messages and both reported and blocked the user. I can't imagine how Zazzle might stop this from happening and, at the same time, maintaining Chat. Many of us are savvy enough to recognize a rat when we see it, but there are always the innocent, hopeful new members. Perhaps Zazzle can do something like PayPal does, which is to warn people about such stuff. In PayPal's case, they never put links in legitimate mail and tell you to watch for if this happens. In Zazzle's case, perhaps email to all members giving them an example or two of what to watch for might help. Of course, the warning would also go out to the scammers who sign up as members, but it's all I can think of.

Zazzle could introduce a system that 'initiates a spam detect' when certain words are used namely 'fiver.com' in this case etc, or phrases these scammer/spammers are mainly using. Those emails can then go automatically through to a 'spam folder' for us to review at a later date or the 'spammer' gets a notice, their message due to 'content' has NOT been forwarded to the creator.
EDIT: suggestion added to ideas forum.

I have been getting spam messages up until a few days ago. Now I block the user and report every one of them soon after they arrive

Multiple. Daily. Some even have started trying to reach me both here and on Instagram too. I ignore them and usually report. But they seem to just keep coming faster and faster now! It was maybe one or two a month but recently it's a few a day.

It's certainly annoying.
I reply with a copy paste 'This is an automated message to inform you that your member ID has been logged and reported for unsolicited messaging. Have a nice day!' then report and block. Makes me feel better

I received them too, maybe once a week. Always report them.
