I have noticed in the past week or so that regardless of the royalty I set for a product, the price of the product doesn't have any of the discounts Zazzle used to offer with various promotional discount codes depending on the time frames that discount was set for (10%, 15%, 20% etc.)
So every day in the past week, a wide range of products had no discounts - Which is why I believe sales have dropped.
I took some shots of my screen with different types of products having no discounts, but can't seem to be able to upload them. Types of product with no discounts: invitations, napkins, favor boxes, bottle labels, foam boards (party supplies in general). All I can see with some discounts still are glasses and binders (feel free to add).
I don't get many sales daily, but having no sales in the past few days is odd to say at least even for me so I think it has something to do with the discounts.
I wonder if the situation will remain as it is (wide range of products with no discounts) or (hopefully) it is something temporary.
Any thoughts?

Can you see any of your products being advertised in Google Shopping Ads? Before the April 1 update, I had several products being shown all day with daily sales, now they are no longer being shown in the feed. Can any lower bronze seller or below see any of their products being advertised in google shopping ads? Without our products being advertised it will be difficult for them to sell.

When I do internet searches for various things, I do see the Shopping ads for all sorts of Zazzle products, even those from lower Pro sellers.

I've been wondering about this as well. The lack of even small discounts discourages me from even buying my own products for gifts. IMO, the full retail prices at Zazzle seem quite high. If this continues long term, I expect sitewide sales to plummet. I hope I am wrong.
The current Tariff Wars could be the underlying reason for lack of discounts, especially if base products come from China.

Looks like I’m going to need to update my “how to save money on Zazzle” video.
i presume they’re trying to increase urgency with limited time only sales. Should be interesting to see if it works well for them. Otherwise, I suspect we’ll see a switch back at some point.
In the past, I have specifically posted for my followers, community when larger sales were happening. This does have some efficacy.
If you are still actively promoting, I’d advise checking each promo preview and planning out ads for the products soon to be on sale. Sometimes they’re detailed and sometimes they’re vague, so I often used to resort to checking in the morning, whipping up a quick ad in Canva, and then blasting it in a few spots.
I think they are doing this as well to control the referrals, as people will follow the sales emails, making it harder for us to get the credit.
I plan to finish changing my royalties today (not finished yet). I’m pricing everything presuming I will earn zero referrals from here on out. Anything extra will be a bonus.
Good luck to all!
