Unbelieveably Inappropriate Spam Message in Chat

Edited to remove what the message said because I realized that the mods would probably frown on sharing what it said.  Basically it was lewd.

I have reported the chat and blocked the user, but the spam users that I have blocked are still on my followers list including this guy.  The message was so inappropriate and I don't want him to be able to follow my store.   I believe he should be banned from the site. Yes, I know he could have said even worse things, but this isn't social media where it is kind of expected, this is a professional site.

I don't know what can be done about this type of thing.  Probably not anything, but I rarely get a customer chat and have gotten so many spam chats from men like this pretending to hit on me or people saying they can "help me make more money".  I have no problem just blocking and deleting and move on, but it seems to be escalating in frequency and as you can see here, the inappropriate nature of the message.

I don't mind chat as a general feature so customers can easily ask me a question, but I hope that Zazzle is being aggressive in removing these kinds of accounts from the site.

This is awful and I'm so sorry you experienced this. I know how unsettling this type of harrassment can be. I do believe Zazzle will take prompt action. Keep us informed!

It is.  This is more than marketing or normal spam and it should not be tolerated.  Luckily I can brush it off and not let it affect me, but other people may not be able to brush it off easily and it should not be allowed in a professional workspace.   And as a random aside, this guy's profile image is a shirtless man laying back with his arm behind his head.  Trying to entice someone I guess 🙄

I didn't see your screengrab, but I'm very sorry to hear that you had such a horrible experience. Not the best way to start one's day.

Maybe in the same way that certain terms and words are verboten and starred on the Zazzle community forums, that that kind of system can be implemented in chat before messages are sent to us.

I have been getting SO many spam messages lately I feel like all I do is block! It's really ridiculous! It has never been as bad as this past month or two. They are coming out of the woodwork!
