Why the Disparity in Color Selections Between Men’s vs. Women’s T-Shirts

When creating t-shirts for men, I can choose from about a dozen or more color options. But when designing women’s t-shirts, I only have about 5-6 color choices.

Can Zazzle please offer the same variety of t-shirt color options that are available for men on women’s, children’s, and women’s plus-size t-shirts? Why the disparity here? Women comprise the largest percentage of Zazzle’s buyers. Let’s cater to women and better meet their needs.

And this is my third request: can Zazzle offer Comfort Color shirts for women, children, and men?

If Zazzle wants to expand their customer reach and thus their sales, one way to do that is to offer the same Comfort Color shirt color options as Etsy does. Comfort color shirts are by far their best sellers.

Thanks!

I thought I noticed a disparity in this previously, but then today going back to verify, at least for the "basic" shirt, the men's basic shirt is "unisex" but the women's basic shirt mentions a women's cut. It's possible there may even be two suppliers, hence the color difference.

The longsleeved t-shirts are both unisex, however, but I do see they have the same available colors (one shows an additional option, but it's crossed out).

I have many feelings about the plus sized shirt. I own one and love it. I still want a model. lol. Long overdue. However, I can tell you that the fit, weight, and supplier is different because my son has an adult longsleeved shirt and my husband has an adult shortsleeved shirt and I've been able to compare in person.

This is likely the reason for the color choice difference, unfortunately.

I will say that I find all the shirt options VERY difficult to compare here, and I would love a chart or some sort of resource so I don't need to keep flipping around to find colors, weights, and v-neck versus crew neck options. If this exists, someone please tell me! 🙂

I don't know about the Comfort Color shirts you mention, but anything with the word "comfort" in it rates HIGH in my book, so I'm just going to join you on cheering on that suggestion!
