@Boki @Jadendreamer13 is right - January is typically slow. I made a sale earlier today (https://www.zazzle.com/customizable_find_us_on_social_media_trodat_4911_self_inking_stamp-2567006157...) and 11 total for the month of January. So while I'm not getting rich (of course) I'm fine with it because it was more than I made in 2024 or 2025 during January. 🙂

January surprised me in the best way. I have in 42 sales / transactions mostly stationery and men’s birthday cards. At this point I’m starting to feel like the Hallmark of Zazzle, and honestly, I’ll take it. Evergreen designs really carried me this month

I’ve noticed a real connection between my activity and my sales. When I’m actively creating and listing new products, I see a boost. When I was offline for a month caring for my husband, my sales were pretty flat. Once I started creating again both for my Zazzle store and for the educational blog I contribute to my sales picked up. For me, staying engaged in some way really helps keep the sales coming in

That's great, @Susang6 "I’ve noticed a real connection between my activity and my sales"
I haven't seen that. Also: I am mainly selling old products, hardly anything created in the past year or so.
I am also working on a lot of new cover images, but that does not seem to make any difference.
One of my stores has a rank 9 (so far), but regularly goes days without a single sale.
December and January are usually pretty slow, but I haven't seen anything like this before.

I’ve seen firsthand how my activity affects my Zazzle performance. I publish regularly on a high-traffic educational blog, and every article includes an ‘About the Author’ section where I link to my Zazzle About page. When I had to step away for five weeks to care for my husband, I didn’t publish or create new products and during that time, my views, linkovers, and sales all dropped significantly. Once I resumed writing article and listing new products, and sharing everything picked up again. For me, it’s a combination of consistent content, fresh listings, and organic traffic from the links I’ve shared. That break where I wasn’t online really highlighted how important ongoing activity is.

I’ve had my store since 2009, and over the years I’ve slowly built up a pretty wide web of backlinks thousands of articles with “About the Author” sections that include a hyperlink to my Zazzle About page, plus sharing across Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, and running several groups as an admin. That said, it’s been a long, often exhausting journey. I’m not a commercial blogger I write educational and informational content, and keeping five personal blogs going, along with contributing to a high-traffic educational blog, is a lot of behind-the-scenes work. There were many 20-hour days filled with creating, listing, and sharing. So when I had to step away for a month to care for my husband, I really noticed the difference views and sales slowed, and my linkover history dipped. Once I returned to creating and publishing, things gradually picked up again. For me, it seems that staying active in some way whether through writing, creating, or simply being present at my groups helps keep things moving. But I know we all have different rhythms, audiences, and strategies, and what works for one person might not work the same way for another. I think that’s part of what makes this community special we each bring something different to the table

You’d be surprised how many people working online put in those kinds of hours. When I was writing for eHow, (how to articles) it wasn’t unusual to publish 10 to 15 articles a day money was definitely the motivator back then. At the same time, I was also creating for Zazzle and blogging, so there was a ton of behind-the-scenes work: promoting, backlinking, and keeping everything connected. It was a lot, but that’s the reality for so many of us who’ve built our work from the ground up

Late December and early January were super slow for me, but sales picked up for me in the last part of January. I've sold a couple of mid-range items this week, in addition to small tissue paper and card sales. I think an increase in my Pinterest traffic might be helping.
I hope your sales start to improve.

Of course, one should not give up work in the hope that, finally, the great effort and work will really pay off, but... The current situation looks as if the stores have been "cut off" from the site, because there are no inflows,... Catastrophic. 😞

@Boki Don't give up yet because January is typically really slow (we call it the January Hole in my hometown). Since today was the last day of the month I compared my last three January months (I started on Zazzle on 11/11/2023):
January totals by year (non-canceled):
2024: $0.36 royalty | 1 order item | 1 item | $3.62 subtotal
2025: $3.80 royalty | 2 order items | 2 items | $13.93 subtotal
2026: $40.42 royalty | 11 order items | 16 items | $192.78 subtotal
It helps me personally to get (and stay) motivated (even if we are only talking peanuts or breadcrumbs in my case) to see the visual curve pointing upward (meaning I can beat the previous time period).
But it's true, it will only get harder going forward to make sales for several reasons, sigh.

It seems you match perfectly as an overall right vision about a store growing.
But unfortunatly your username CO 88 appearing on your store seems much mismatching, just looking at that from a basic point of view verification.
However, you look as a valued contributor too, good continuation...

I see a Zazzle Creator username need to be entered as Name and Surname (Optional). "CO 88" does not sound as a Name and Surname. Is your real name "CO"? Never heard that.

@osea No, I didn’t say that I am aware of the „rule“ you pointed out to me, I meant that I know how my profile looks like (since I have created it). But it’s ok, you just seem to like to pinch folks from time to time. I will now also ignore you in the forums, not only in the Zazzle chat. Have a grand weekend.

No problem, as usual, unfortunately. I just don't understand this keeping create fights... Forgetting all the basic rules that have been around for a long time... Yes, after various inappropriate events, it's difficult for many ones to face reality..., but it doesn't change...

Hey Mom, I looked it up for you Zazzle does not require creators to use their real name. The Name/Surname fields are optional, and thousands of creators use long‑time online usernames instead of legal names. CO 88/Mom is just your online identity, the same way Susang6 is mine.

@Susang6 Thanks so much Susan for taking the time to look, that was my understanding as well. I do not intentionally mislead (or worse) but I see nothing wrong with using an online identity we our self have used for many years already in fact.

I do not pinch folks. If you want to know the truth, it really was the contrary to my end. Some other maybe like to disturb me and my work and enjoy see me fail, but I still not see any reason for their too, to do that...

My creator name is Susang6, and CO 88 is simply her online identity. Many of us have long‑standing usernames that are part of our digital footprint. Zazzle makes the Name/Surname fields optional because creator handles are widely used. It’s completely normal and within the guidelines.

I do not know about this, sorry. Not knowing your point of views too. Normally when there is a text example in the field "Name and Surname" anyone must enter the Name and Surname. Otherwise there should be written nickname or something else similar to nickname in the example text.

One.......ONE sale in January. I've gone from what was often multiple sales per week a year ago to maybe (if I'm lucky) one to two a month! Ya all can continue to blame it on the economy or time of year all you want but something has changed at Z and it was sudden. When I read posts from a designer that used to make over $700 a month to sometimes not getting a payment now..........something has changed big time. I don't know what this new marketing fee is going to but it doesn't seem to be helping any or at least not helping me. I feel you @Boki, it's as if the shop isn't even being seen. Well other than by all the Singapore bots..........🙄

I used to make around 300 sales a month. Little by little, things were growing, and then suddenly everything started to fade away. It’s clear that something happened. Other designers had already said the same in the past, all with a similar profile, Silver Badge and comparable earnings. None of us slowed our pace, but everything vanished anyway. So yes, something definitely changed and, for some reason, it harmed certain people in particular. Then came the biggest change, and here we are…
Now barely 30 sales a month, by the way…

It is incomprehensible to me that it has a huge number of views, and in fact there is NOT a single sale, for days,... It would be more logical for sales and earnings to be large, but in fact it is a disaster because there is NO at all! 🤔 😞 😭

I couldn’t really tell you what’s going on, but something is happening. Maybe it’s all those visits coming from Singapore or China, I don’t know. What I do notice, though, when I look at my recent visits over the past few days, is that people are curiously viewing Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween designs… It’s strange. There are many items, yet sales are barely one a day, if I’m lucky…
