Zazzle Store for School or Nonprofit

Hi friends!

I am thinking of creating a Zazzle store for my daughter's school and it's non-profit foundation. I would be donating 100% of the profits to her school so this would solely be volunteer work on my end.

Her school has no merchandise - no license plate frames, bumpster stickers, etc - so I see both a need for these items (I personally would love a license plate frame representing my daughter's school!) and a fundraising opportunity for the school.

My only concern is I don't want my husband and I to get stuck paying taxes on any income the school earns, so I'm assuming there's a place to put the school's Tax ID # instead of my social? Has anyone done something similar for a non-profit and do you have any tips? Thanks in advance!

The Dreamscape Foundation, the International Dark-Sky Association, and the Writer’s Room of Boston are among the nonprofit organizations that have already set up successful stores.  End Quote

Thank you for this!!

As it's not your non-profit foundation, you would need written permission from them I would imagine to use their logo/name.

I would also contact zazzle directly to see if this is possible.

If it is, I would suggest opening a new zazzle account solely for this so all payments are completely separate from your personal account for tax purposes.

Yes, I said in my post I would be creating a Zazzle store for the school so it would be a new Zazzle account. And yes, I definitely plan on asking them beforehand and requesting their school icon be sent to me. I'm just trying to do my research first before approaching them with this idea. Thank you!
