It would be nice if we had an option for collections to be organized by sales data or views data. That way they would be constantly changing and ideally the more popular products within the collection would float to the top and be the first seen on product pages.

Thanks for considering.

Hi @MasterpieceCafe,

Thanks for the suggestion. I can see how such a feature may be useful for you and creators so I'm happy to make our team aware of it.

All the best,

Pádraig 🙂

Thanks @Pádraig

I often second guess the order I place my products in. I think if we had an option that is constantly rearranging a collection based on popularity then IMO that allows my customers to decide what is best to be seen first and I don't have to think about it. I can see the value in some collections having a set order as well.

Thanks for passing this along.

I searched collections before creating a new post and found this thread.  I'm so glad to hear it's being considered as I was going to request the same thing.  I've thought about it almost every single time I am working on a collection, it's that important.

Right now, I am doing extensive work on my collections and here are other things I think would find extremely helpful in increasing sales and efficiency in making our collections more effective:

1.  Perhaps a backend view that allows us to view by collection that looks just like our product views.  That would allow us to immediately see the views, last viewed date, sales etc.

2.  From that screen, give us the ability to arrange them to show in which every order we sort.  Then allow us to go back into the normal collection view and rearrange if there is a reason we need/want to adjust them.

3.  Seeing that information, in that format would also allow us to edit tags, titles etc. in order to update outdated tags and facilitate them being more visible.

Thanks!  Audrey

@Pádraig wondering if this thought is moving forward or if the team doesn't think it's a good option?

@AudreyJeanne  I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that a dynamic collection is a benefit. Thanks for adding to the thread.
