We used to have something called 'Quick Create' which did just that. It was fazed out a couple of years ago. I don't know how Red Bubble and Threadless do it, but you're not likely to see that option come back on Zazzle. It created a marketplace full (for lack of a better term) garbage. People would just slap the same thing on a thousand different products with no thought to how they actually looked or whether they were suitable for that product.
It's easy and quick enough now to transfer a design from one product to another. We're encouraged to be thoughtful about which product we place designs on so they are appropriate to that product. If you want sales, the goal is to make the best designs, not the most.
I agree with Baylee. Zazzle's strength and uniqueness comes from quality, well-thought-out customizable designs. Those other sites don't have personalization, so for them the bulk designs make more sense. We certainly don't want to make it even easier for the spammers to flood the market with plain black designs or blanks!
I wasn’t expecting such a quick reply, thank you for your insight! I would personally still go through and check each product, but I can see how scammers could take advantage of that system.
