I'd love to see Mardi Gras listed as a holiday on the the drop down list of holidays when listing a product.

It's currenly one of the trending topics, so there must be a demand for Mardi Gras products.

I agree. We have the "holidays" of National Boss Day" and "Talk LIke a Pirate Day" and "Tax Day". Mardi Gras makes more sense to me than those three.

Yes, Mardi Gras! AKA Carnival, AKA "Fat Tuesday"

Not many people know this, but Mardi Gras actually originates from the Catholic faith, which is why it occurs on the day before Ash Wednesday. (Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, for those who don't know.) Unfortunately, over time it has become paganized.  The word "Carnival" comes from the Latin "Carne' vale" which means "Farewell to meat."  But enough of the history lesson, lol.

Until Mardi Gras will be listed in the 'Holidays' category (if ever), you can list a Mardi Gras related item under...

Select a Category --> Other --> Special Days --> 02 February --> 12 Mardi Gras (Carnival is February 09, Pancake and Shrove Tuesday February 12, Ash Wednesday February 13, etc).

Hope this helped
