May be a big ask, but ... for products like bunting flags, throw pillows, the acrylic coaster sets, and presentation folders (to name a few) this could translate into improved efficiencies -- namely, faster production creation times.

Rather than select all the elements in the design area, copy, and then paste 15 more times, having a "copy-and-paste this design" feature would allow designers/customers/users to replicate all the elements (and attributes -- kerning, leading, etc.) at the touch of a button.

For bunting flags, this ''copy-and-paste this design" feature could also be expanded to "copy-and-paste this design" on alternating printing areas. So if I created a new design on Flag 1, could be (batch) replicated to the remaining odd-numbered flags. My second design on Flag 2 could also be (batch) replicated to the remaining even-numbered flags.

Maybe you are asking for something else, but how this would be different from using CTRL+A, which is selecting all design elements/layers of your design and then copy and paste it?

Couldn't you also use the transfer this design option for this?

@J32Design, the transfer design only transfers to one bunting flag (for one-sided designs, like a tile) or two bunting flags (for two-sided designs like pillows).

using CTRL+A works, but again, it only copies and transfers to one flag. I would have to do CTRL+A fifteen more times.

If I have understood correctly, his already exists re the 'Transfer' option', all elements including background color will be copied and pasted to a new product.

Alternatively, you can use the 'select all' option to 'copy all the items in one click' to paste onto another product.

3 .To transfer to MULTIPLE items - USE Quick Create - create a template set you can reuse with those features you wish to replicate across all products.

@CreativeLeahG, I'm not trying to transfer a design to multiple items -- I'm trying to transfer a design to a single item with multiple printing areas.

If you create a template you will only have to do this copy and paste function ONE TIME, because after this you can use that template for all your future designs and changing one flag will change them all. I do this myself on multiple page invites where I might want to add a monogram to each page or the same background etc.

@CreativeLeahG, by template, do you mean a saved (and unpublished) design?

@WHS_Designs

A template can simply be a product you have already created. You go in , edit and publish as a new product. The orginal product acting as a 'template'.

Or, you can create a 'template set'.

Let us say you have 5 products all with identical template fields. You can add those to a category on their own. Then using QC (Quick Create) instead of using Zazzle's default template set, you select your own via the category you created. You can use QC for a single product type or for multiple product types.

For your usage, you could have a bunting template set with different color backgrounds. So you can then add your bunting changes via the QC template tool and it will duplicate across all your template set (color backgrounds). This will aid your productivity and afterwards, they will be 'grouped' together so a visitor will see all the color variations from any single product page.
