The vertical orientation flat cards and postcards let you design the front vertically, but then the back side comes up horizontal. That's really frustrating when you want to add text, especially customizable text, because its sideways, and who's going to want to bother with that. The in situ pics show them that way too. The horizontal cards are ok, and so are folded cards. Unless it's just me, maybe there's away to change it, please tell me. Wouldn't be the first time I've not noticed some obvious design tool thing. Thanks.

Well, I don't see a way to change the orientation on the back of a postcard - but I'm not sure why you'd want to do that unless you're using the card for something other than a postcard. But for all other flat cards, the back works the same way as the front. Just go to the layers tab, choose the back, then click on "Design Placement" at the bottom of the layers stack. That will open the placement radio buttons on the right hand side where you can choose either horizontal or vertical.

Hope that helps!

Yes, thank you. I didn't get that. I'm so good at doing everything the hard way. haha

@pencilcat Ha! Well, it's not exactly an "intuitive" interface with the placement of those controls, so I'm not surprised that you were confused! 🙂
