I remember visiting a branch of a chain restaurant near my home. On the walls of this particular location, they had wooden breadboards painted in a style reminiscent of Rothko’s artwork. I think customizable wooden breadboards or pizza peels could serve as both functional keepsakes for the kitchen and unique decorative pieces for the home—great for sparking conversation.

I don't know what a breadboard or a "pizza peel" is, but Zazzle does offer wooden cutting boards. Create your own Etched Wooden Cutting Board | Zazzle

This is an example of a pizza peel. It is a spade-shaped paddle used to place pizzas into and remove them from ovens. It is sometimes referred to as a pizza shovel for that reason. Breadboards have a similar appearance, though they are typically flat, solid-handled boards used for cutting, shaping bread dough, and preparing other foods. They can also serve as display pieces.

I’m familiar with etched wooden cutting boards, which make great gifts and decorative items. The restaurant I visited had wooden breadboards hanging on the wall, painted in a Rothko-esque style. This particular chain is known for its bread and pastries, so using breadboards as décor was a fitting nod to its identity.
