Good afternoon, I'm very new to digital downloads and something is not making sense to me. Why are some invitations downloadable but others are not? Everything is the same (even the same subject), yet, a few of the invitations are not downloadable. Can anyone provide clarification? Thank you!

Now that I've made my first digital sale, it occurred to me that the standard cancellation policy might not make sense for these types of transactions. The FAQ says this: What is the refund policy for Instant Downloads? Customers know and trust Zazzle for our 100% Satisfaction guarantee. We will explore the best way to represent digital content during and after the initial beta test to better understand the motivation for customer returns. As always, any exploits of our goodwill policy will not be tolerated. We seek to understand customer return motivations. Just wondering if you're taking it on a case by case basis or what - and how you will know what motivates customers to cancel. Seems like it could be easily exploited by bad actors, but I suppose that's always the case. Just curious, 'cause yanno... now that I've made my first five bucks from digital I'm eager for it not to go pink! 😉

Good morning, To the designers who offer digital downloads - may I ask why? I would love to know your thoughts. I ask because I've been going back and forth since Zazzle has been offering the service. What's stopping me is that buyers can purchase the product once yet download it as many times as they want and share it. People can also buy the product, download it, have it permanently then cancel the sale. I would love to have your thoughts on this. Thank you.

From this prior discussion I had thought that sale discounts did not apply to Instant Downloads, but a 25% discount was applied to a recent order. I looked for information in Help pages but couldn't find confirmation if this is expected or not.

I received a message from a customer and need guidance on how to proceed. "Hi! The print shop replied with this when I sent them the PDFs “ could the files please be provided 5.25x7.25 (5x7 plus .125” bleed added to each edge) – files are currently 5.13x7.13” …. After searching the forum and not finding an answer, I just wanted to request to have products that are available for instant download to be featured as such so the customers can plainly see them. When this feature first became available, it was easy to see and it was great for my sales. I see that it is practically hidden now and I haven't been getting instant download sales since. I hope this changes. If it has or there is a way to clearly show the customer right away the instant download availability, please advise. Thanks! 🙂

Hi Guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows where this issue finally landed. I know that originally it was set up so that the customer could make changes after their purchase and download it multiple times - does it still work that way? I'm asking because I have a customer who wants a digital download for some place cards that she needs at the last minute and I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle it. The easiest for me is to just put the design on a small card/invitation, but if she's going to have to purchase each one individually, I'll probably want to adjust the pricing so it's reasonable. On the other hand, if she can re-download without re-purchasing, I'd want to set a much higher price. Does anybody know how it's currently working?

Hi! Early this morning, I received a message requesting help with a product that wasn’t eligible for download. So, I created a new product that could be downloaded, sent the link, and explained that she needed to redesign all the content. However, I could potentially assist her if she sent me her link. She did send me her link, and I transferred the design in two minutes. I sent her a sample, she said it looked good, and then the problem started. She only wants a digital download, so I can’t publish it hidden, and I can’t copy and paste due to data protection... She had to redo it. What a waste of time! How did you manage it? Is there a way to publish only for that client or something similar?

I am very new creator and have experienced what I'm sure is a one-off technical issue. When creating products, I always select 'enable this product for instant download'; however, I noticed that in my live store, none of the products I've enabled for digital download are actually appearing this way. I have gone through all settings, and have attempted to select 'Enable All' on my products tab page within my storefront but the button disappears just as quickly as it appears, and I'm unable to click and move forward. I have a gut feeling I'll need some help from Zazzle's technical team to ensure my digital-enabled products are truly enabled for digital and live on the site. Also, it's worth mentioning that when I select 'Eligible' within my products tab page for Instant Download Settings, it states 'Sorry, no products found' but when selecting 'Enabled', all products I previously enabled are visible. When viewing my store as an outsider, the digital download option is not visible. This is either a technical issue, or the result of being a new creator (I am approximately 1 1/2 months in to zazzling); however I believe it's the former and not the latter Please find the below is the screen shot for your reference.
