Affiliate Disclosure in Product Descriptions?

Hi everyone,

Since Pinterest no longer allows direct pinning of affiliate links, I was wondering what you think about adding a short disclosure to the product description to remain transparent and compliant.

Here's a possible example:

As a Zazzle designer, I earn a commission from sales. If you purchase through my social media links, I may also earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. I am not responsible for external content. #ad #AffiliateDisclosure"

Do you think this is clear and helpful? Or too much info for customers? Has anyone found better ways to disclose affiliate links, especially when promoting collections or products on platforms like Pinterest? PS: Can Zazzle make the changes automatically to every product, so the artists are on the legal side?

Thanks in advance!

At the very least put something on your Pinterest Profile. Keep it short and sweet no matter where it goes.

Here is what I have on my profile "My links are primarily affiliate links but don't worry, this doesn't mean the prices are higher than is on the Zazzle website."

Hello, thanks for your respond. I already know that the prices aren´t higher. So you post directly from Zazzle?

My statement "My links are primarily affiliate links but don't worry, this doesn't mean the prices are higher than is on the Zazzle website." is not for you. That statement is for potential customers reading my Pinterest profile. 😉

Yes, I post directly from Zazzle with the Share button and I also make manual pins. I've never used an affiliate warning on pins.
