New store.  I believe I have my store in good shape or perhaps not.  Now I'm ready to work on the Pinterest portion but I'm a bit confused.  I believe there are 2 options for pinning.  1 seems the easiest which is to click the Save to Pinterest button and put it on the appropriate board.  2 is to go to Pinterest and add the URL along with description and keywords.  Option 1 doesn't seem to give me the ability to put in description or keywords or am I missing something?  Which is the better option?  I have my boards set up in Pinterest with appropriate tags for each board.  Do I need to be tagging each pin? ... I have been lax in learning the dos and don'ts of promoting and am now forced (like many others) to take the time to get smart about this.  So I have only one request:  please list the best Do's and Don'ts for promoting designs in the various social media outlets etc. I'm certain other will appreciate and learn from your responses and maybe with some luck this could be a saved post for all designers to learn from The only don't I have learned so far is:  Don't post your products at a time of day where there is less traffic and eyes on the platform. I don't think I've received any referrals to Zazzle from my lists yet, but I have managed a handful from other retailers - Mostly Target. I'm up to a whole $16.50... maybe in a few years I'll have enough to get paid 😜 I've had clicks from Amazon, quite a few at first, but then tapered off quickly, but absolutely nothing in the way of actual sales.  I've been avoiding loading up with too many Zazzle heavy lists, as I kind of feel like I might get dinged by their algorithm if I do... I've begun reviewing my spreadsheet of BLOGSPOT blogs that I used to post to. I have found that many have been neglected by everyone. Some with latest post in early 2023, some with posts up to November 2024. A few have been cannibalized by Spammers. I think this was mentioned in the old forum but I’d like to surface it again.  Is it possible to increase the quality of the share image for Pinterest? Whatever resolution it is at now is completely fuzzy.   I’d like to use the collection share image in my manually made pins on Pinterest. The image is of such low quality that even if I minimize the size of the image to half on a 1000 x 1500 px pin it’s still really not good.  Thanks for considering it.  ... View more

Benable contacted me to set up a video call between me and the guy who started the website. I signed up, thinking it would be me listening to a webinar with 300 people.  But it's only ME and Tony. My husband and daughter both bought products from my store today from direct links of mine and I did not get a referral credit for either.  I do receive random referral credits every once in awhile so I know that I'm signed up okay.  They both have separate Zazzle accounts from mine and  my daughter is grown and doesn't live with me so I don't understand why the referral didn't go through.  I gave sent my husband a direct link to a product and I gave my daughter a link to my store.  Am I doing something wrong?  ...
