Does anyone use it on Zazzle? I can see there's space for it in store settings, but I'm struggling to find it on Facebook.
Zazzle help says it will be available soon, did this ever happen?

I suspect it would be helpful to be able to use the intelligence from Meta pixels for our promotions. Would appreciate any insight on this - if anyone has employed it.

Zazzle isn't using the Facebook pixel, it has not integrated the required code into the webpage templates; even though they have an option to install the pixel in the settings area. They say that they will be implementing it in the future, but this can be another year or longer. This is the same with Google tracking. Google transition to their G4 analytics implementation, but Zazzle never upgraded their system to support the new tracking method; so it's difficult for us to see how our marketing efforts are doing on Zazzle.

***UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS POST***
I decided to test if the Facebook Pixel option is active so I created a Pixel (Now Called DataSource), for one of my shops. The interesting thing is when I tested it with one of the Facebook Event Manager tools; it says there is no Pixel installed; but when I use the Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome Extension, it detects a pixel, as does another Event Tester Tool on the site. The three events that are being captured are PageViews, View content and Button Click.
There are two warnings that show up; that indicates that there may be an error in the code, because the Pixel is not firing for that event. What event that is, the helper to does not explain.
I decided to add a product to the shopping cart, but that event was not captured; what was captured , was my removal of the product as a Button Click event.
So since it seems as though part of the tracking is working, I'm going to install a pixel on the rest of my shops to see what type of data is being collected and tracked.

***UPDATE 12/08/2024***
I have been seeing "Facebook Tracking Events" across all of my Zazzle shops.
In the events being tracked, there has been "Add To Cart" and "Purchase" events for some shops.
I'm assuming for the shops that don't show the "Purchase Event"; that it is because the user has blocked tracking.
Note: It does not seem that "Purchase Events" are in real time. Some have been delayed by a few hours to a day, based on the information I receive in the Event Manager; and the data in the Zazzle Sales Summary.
So it would seem that the Facebook Pixel is fully integrated with the Zazzle Back End, after all.

Hello xZendor7,
How do you actually implement this in zazzle? I am a bit lost as to where exactly you enter the pixel information you got.
Can you give a bit more details on that? Thank you.
Also, does this setup allow you to create facebook sales optimized campaigns (where a pixel is a must)?

The first thing you'll need to do is go to the Facebook events manager and create a pixel (https://business.facebook.com/events_manager2/). Once that is done you will copy the 16 digit Dataset ID (formerly known as the Facebook Pixel). Now go to your Zazzle shop >>> Go to setts >>> Go to Advance Settings >>> Go to the bottom of the page - and where it says Facebook pixels ids; add in the 16 digit number, set the check mark and save the changes.
Depending on shop traffic it can take from a few hours to a week before data begins to show up in the Facebook Events Manager. With that said, when traffic begins to flow back to Facebook, you will see data based on PageView, View Content, Add to Cart, Purchase.
Since I do not do much in the way of marketing on Zazzle I generally see data just on the first three.
If you're wondering, why I don't do much marketing for my Zazzle shops, it is because Zazzle blocks search engine indexing of Zazzle Shops. In the early days this was not the case; and one would get a lot of organic traffic; which complimented ones marketing and advertising.
As a creator it is not our job to advertise for Zazzle in my opinion; and many of the other POD that I am on, do not block search engines from indexing the shops. On top of that they also do paid advertising for those shops that are marketing themselves in as many places as possible.
When it comes to marketing and advertising, what I do instead is drive traffic to my website and to landing pages I've created on the site and link artwork on those pages, either to my shops, categories in my shops or directly to the artwork.
This approach allows the search engines to then associate my website with my print on demand shops. Also on every product page I create on a POD shop, I also have a link to direct people to my website, so that I can get some link juice from these platforms.
As for the Facebook optimized sales campaigns; this is something that occurs through the Facebook system. As the pixel collects data, Facebook is able to build a data set of the type of individuals that visit your site and also connect there Facebook, Instagram, Threads accounts with that pixel information.
They are also able to build up a cohorts data set of the people that they interact with, that allows Facebook to then create a larger audience to target your ads too, lowering your advertising cost.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
Good Luck, and All The Best.

Thank you, I appreciate the detailed response. Very helpful tips.
Unfortunately I do not have that field, I went to my shop -> settings -> Advanced settings.
The only thing I see there is the ability to add a Google Analytics ID.
Perhaps on your side you have some additional details, either due to your account type or maybe zazzle have enabled some experimental features.
Regardless, thank you for your help!

Then I would suggest that you contact customer support.
Zazzle has to programs, the second one which offers some additional account perks; tied to some account downgrades.
Let them know that you want to add the Facebook pixel to your shop, since are looking to start running campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.

It's at the very bottom of store settings -> settings -> Advanced settings underneath Google Analytics ID and just above Marketing & Promotions
