I'm consolidating all my stores into 2 stores. This is a problem because the stores I wish to use has only 1 follower...ME! Yeah. So now my profile on those stores show that I have been active since 2011 which in itself is not correct because I didn't really start using Zazzle till October 2023. Anyway... every other store I pull up that has been here that long has 600 - 2000 followers! NOT good for me. So I'm begging for some help here. If you will be gracious enough to like my stores then leave your links in the comments to this post I will gladly do the same for you. Thank you so much in advance.

Having followers that are Zazzle designers is a waste of time and not beneficial to your or the Zazzle creator who follows you. Customer's are not looking at your profile and thinking "gee, this person has no followers." It takes time to get followers that are following your profile because they like your designs. Just be patient, do the work and forget about it.

Thank you. I think you are right. Letting go now.

Hi Alesia, I totally understand the frustration. Followers on Zazzle can look like a big deal, but in reality most of the traffic and sales come from search, not follower counts. I’ve found that focusing on strong titles, descriptions, and keywords makes a much bigger difference than how many followers my store shows.

That said, it never hurts to have more visibility! If you want to grow followers more naturally, here are a couple of ideas:

  • Share your store links on Pinterest or Instagram with styled images — people who like your work there often click through and follow.

  • Join Zazzle forum threads like this one where people share collections and themes. Sometimes other designers will follow if they like your style.

  • Keep your store banner and about section up to date — when it looks active and curated, visitors are more likely to hit follow.

I’ll check out your stores — and if you’d like, here’s mine as well: https://www.zazzle.com/store/dotellabelle

As others have said not really important in the grand scheme of things, promoting yourself is far better out on social media. Facebook has a few good groups too that may or may not help with likes but offer a bit of moral support and allows you to post your items too to gain eyeballs!
I also use Benable too which is an app to share your favorite things too (including of course your Zazzle items) it is like the old polyvore meets pinterest! PLUS as well as getting your products out there, you can potentially earn from 40,000 brands when you promote them too.
There is a wait list but you can skip this with my link: https://benable.com/i/SDGYB
There are quite a few other Zazzlers there and it is great for seeing them in a different light as you find out their own personal interests, location and a bit more about their style! here is mine for you to see how you can use it https://benable.com/mylittleeden

Building up followers, and customers takes time but if you do a little bit each day it all adds up!
Wishing you all the best, Sarah
