I just started sharing to a new site called Benable and I am loving it so far, I think getting in early is key to beating some heavy traffic later because we will be one of the early birds to already have an established account so people may be more likely to want to follow us. I have always loved Pinterest as it's a popular method of traffic for me but I am really excited for something new... Benable is very similar but like a fresh spin and without character restrictions. Here's my link if you'd like to check it out. I've heard from others and seen online in forums there's currently a waitlist to get on the site (I was fortunate enough to be invited) but you can skip past it and start creating your own shareable lists by signing up with my invite link if you'd like to give it a shot: https://benable.com/i/TPQUX
Also, if you'd like to connect on Pinterest here is my account:

Best of luck to you my fellow Zazzlers!

I don't know if the invite links run out or not... but if they do, here's another https://benable.com/i/3EKVR

@glitter Benable is only new to us, it has been around for a couple of years already (see https://www.reddit.com/r/AffiliateMarket/comments/10w9yas/i_need_opinion_on_benable_site_httpsbenabl... as an example). With that being said I like it too. It's not perfect (it has some glitches) but than again - what is?
To a bright Benable future for us all! 🙂

Interesting, didn't realize it had been out that long but I suppose everything takes time to grow and flourish (that's what I tell myself daily with my sales.... it'll get better in time! haha)

@PenguinPowerFrankly I don't even know if you really actually need an invite link to join. I'm saying this because my first referred person (someone from this forum) became my first referral hours before I actually shared my referral link for the first time on Discord or anywhere (and I did so only because someone had asked me for it). But in any case I have made three referrals in total now and of course I appreciate you all three but it seems at least the first one was kinda by surprise. And I have 28 followers now - pretty much all Zazzlers which is cool too , smile. It's growing quickly among us. 🙂

Do these invite links give you anything if someone signs up?

Yes, it looks like they unlock brands, but I'm not quite sure how that translates.

What does it mean to "unlock brands"?

According to Google's AI
"On Benable, "unlock brands" means gaining access to an affiliate program with 35,000+ brands, allowing you to earn commissions by sharing your recommendations and products from those brands."
Not that it maters much, but folks sharing these (or any other links) that gives them some benefit should be upfront with them.

After I signed up, I posted this FYI in Nigel's original thread.
I used Nigel's link to join, and it showed in my account after that my joining "unlocked" the Sephora brand for both of us.
I was curious from the beginning why everyone is so eager to share their own invite link. Unlocking makes no difference to me, many of those brands I've never even heard of and I have no interest in affiliating any of them.

Just so we are clear, although affiliate earnings are an option that is not why I was there or trying to gain anything from. I love being creative, as a teen I did jewelry, several years back when my daughter was young I got into sewing. I started making gymnastics leotards as a way to try and save money from buying new and in an effort to try and save some money while earning a little extra $$$ on the side when I was expecting my second child. My goal was to have some additional time with them before I had to return to my full time job and selling leo's I made on eBay back then allowed me to do just that. After a couple years I wanted to get into t-shirts bc the leotards were hard work and the profit was shrinking, that's how I came across Zazzle. I taught myself how to design through a lot of trial and error ( I was horrible in the beginning), I watched a lot of videos and if you see my socials you'll see marketing is for sure not my strong suit. I could never make it a day in "sales" driven anything. I'm here doing something I love and it's awesome that I can earn a little something from it as well, but as far as the affiliate goes, I have NO interest in product pushing just to product push.
Just to be fair so you and others don't feel like I was trying to gain anything in a backwards way, here is the automatic verbiage that appears when you ( I ) copy/paste the link and why I truly believed I was being helpful (I've since learned that the waitlist is actually no longer from what I hear tonight so I suppose they need to update their website): Benable is a tool to create shareable lists of things you recommend! You can skip the waitlist and create your own shareable lists by signing up using my invite link: https://benable.com/i/TPQUX
Again, I found Benable through someone else here on Zazzle and honestly I just really like it so I thought I would share it with others because I wanted to help spread the word about something I thought was super cool and new and was grateful to have found out about. I have never had much luck with Facebook, X or even Instagram but for me, Pinterest works despite the low follower count but honestly it wasn't even up until a few month ago, when my sales personally became slow and I was feeling a bit discouraged that I started working on putting a bit more effort into making nicer, more unique pins. So with that said, when I saw Benable which is like a new fresh twist on Pinterest I was thrilled. To me... "new is new" and "new is exciting". I just wanted to share with others something I am hopeful about, that's all, I was not trying to secretly benefit off of anyone. I hope this helps to clear up any misunderstanding.

I wasn't trying to throw you or any other user under a bus. My only suggestion was that when posting invites to any site it's nice to know how you will be benefiting. It's really no different for when you create your social media accounts, blogs and websites and publicly state your links are affiliate links. That is the best business practice and many Zazzle creators don't do this.
Personally, I think Benable looks like a great opportunity. Especially because of the ability to also affiliate from other companies. Go forth and have fun. 😁

Only if you intend to use it for its other purpose... I'm still figuring things out, but I guess it's also an affiliating web site, so if anyone clicks through your link there and buys something, if the company is on their list you get an affiliate percentage. If you use someone else's link to sign up you both "unlock" certain premium companies.. If you don't intend to use it to list things other than your own, then it really doesn't matter... I do wonder if you only make Zazzle lists there, if eventually you'll get dinged in their algorithm and not seen as much..
It appears you can turn the Benable affiliation on and off for each individual product. I'm thinking that all of my Zazzle stuff posted there, should probably have that link off.. as then I won't get my self referral here... but I'm not entirely sure about that yet.. the link they show as sending out seems to be my clean one?

I have emailed Benable Support to ask that such a question. If I get a clarifying response, I'll post.

That's interesting, I do know they offer the ability to partner with brands for affiliate marketers but (if you've ever checked out my pinterest or other socials) you'll see I have not nearly enough followers to make anything in affiliate marketing worth while. Lol.... I definitely share my products but stuff I design or the occasional something I truly truly love. I am learning though that they definetly push the theory it's an invite only but just learned here today that no, people are actually able to sign up direct. I signed up via a recommendation in a forum here and fell in love with the site pretty quickly so I just wanted to help spread the word in hope that it would perhaps be a source of inspiration to others. I don't know about anyone else but the last few months were not very good for me sales wise so I was super disappointed and having a new place to share my thoughts, work and connect with others who share similar interest really gave be a small boost of new hope and a little reminder to just never give up.

I do think the invites can open up opportunities for people who are interested in marketing for bigger brands but personally i'm not. I love designing and that is where my passion is, i'm not a promoter by an means. I do share my products to pinterest and definitely am excited to share them along with some fresh ideas on Benable but my goal is to connect with people who love what I do and share the same interest like my love for horses, gymnastics etc. However when I seen this site I was super excited for something new and I just wanted to share it with others in hopes we can all cheer each other on and help encourage each other a bit. However, if you are into marketing, they do seem to partner with some high quality brands, not sure all the ins and outs of that but it's certainly an option. Hope this helps 🙂

If you build your list the person's Invite who you used gets a new Affiliate company store like Zazzle, Lowes, ASOS, Chewy just to name a few. They have over 32 thousand Affiliate Stores so every time you add a product that you use or like you can make more money as a percentage from. Once you sign up Benable gives you one to start off with but every time you get a new sign up you get a new one.

Only in the last week or so did I even hear the name Benable, but I had no idea what it was, and not until this thread did I have an inkling. I'm freshly back from checking it out. I love the idea and the way it's been set up. So easy to find what you're looking for or your specific interests, and then being able to drill down through those arenas. I'll be making it today's project.
No invitation link is required, but I'll use yours if you benefit from it. 😃

Oh ok, good to know that they don't actually require a link... and here I thought I was in some sort of exclusive up and coming club lol.... I seen that in several places and it's funny when I went to share my link it said something about invite only. I just thought the site seemed super cool and I really love the layout so I am excited to try something new. You don't need to use my link at all but I would definitely follow you if you'd like to share your profile link. 🙂

How many Affiliate Stores do you have opened by others using your link? I know I made money on the Affiliate links I didn't have anyone sign up on . It's only a small percentage but its a start just wondering do you make more of a percentage on the ones you get opened by other's using your links.
