Tip: Managing Products From Within a Collection

I just noticed this helpful little thing so pointing it out for anyone else who also missed it.

When you're on your edit collection page (not the actual Collection page visitors see) and go down to the "Products in your Collection" grid, when you mouse-over an image a little circle with three dots on it appears. Click that and you get these three options.

If you choose to view Product Page or Insights, it helpfully opens in a separate tab. So you can edit/update/optimize a product, close that tab, and be right were you were on the Collection edit page. 👍

Seems super useful. I can't check it out right now, because it does not seem to work on iPad. I would be curious if anyone else can make this work on a touch screen.

My laptop is actually a touch screen but I couldn't find any way to trigger a touch-action. I Googled it and hover just isn't a thing touch devices can do. I have no idea what kind of iPad you have but the Apple store has some fancy keyboards for them. Pricey though, I think the cheapest was like $150.  😵 But I looked on Amazon and found ones that claim to work with iPads and other mobile devices via bluetooth for as low as $20.

Thanks for checking. I have a keyboard for my iPad, likely one of the fancy ones. I. don't worry too much about all this. There are numerous things I can't accomplish on this machine.

(If I REALLY want to do certain things I go up to the desktop, which kind of breaks my personal rule for what kind of work I do where).

That button works with my Bluetooth mouse, and sometimes my Apple Pencil, but not when I touch it with my finger.
