Does editing product TITLE affect placement?

I'm going thru products from YEARS ago and editing-then replacing the designs. (they keep the same place in the search). IF I also change the title, will that affect the product's placement in the search?

Due to the dynamic nature of our search results, product placements are constantly changing. Making updates to the product titles can have an impact, however, it is a best practice to ensure that the product title accurately reflects the design.

I've found several of my products in a higher placement as a result of changing titles, tags, and covers. It's a very tedious process, but worth it. I'm attempting to do 500 changes, I enjoyed the design changes, but the titles, tags, covers and descriptions is just sooooooooooooo boooooooooooring.
