Product Cover

Hi, newbie here. With a store name of Old Lady Biz Store, it's important for my Old Lady Humor products to feature seniors (instead of the youngins'). 😂 So, I used Placeit and uploaded senior models for the specific products and designated the image as the Primary. My problem is when you go to my store's Home Page, it still shows the younger model mockup. But it looks like it's only happening on one of the products. When you click on it, it brings up the senior model, but how do I get the senior model mockup to replace the image on my home page? Here's a link to an example. Look at the Collections and the images under Old Lady Humor. The first younger model is the one I'm talking about. https://www.zazzle.com/collections/old_lady_humor-119200940311790239

Thank you for your help!

@oldladybiz

Just tested it with the tri blend shirt (mine was women's basic) and it doesn't remove the models when the box is checked.

You could report this as a bug in technical

@oldladybiz . It can take a few days for your store front to reflect new covers. I normally allow a week for them to settle in fully (if indexing is behaving)

Just keep uploading your new covers and wait for your storefront to catch up.

Okay, I will wait to see if it changes. The others did but not this one. Thank you!

Also, I just want to add that Zazzle mainly uses the "younger models" in their shirt products. When you click the sell it button and go to the Post Product for Sale page, under the Product Merchandising header (next to your product picture) there is a little check box you can mark to not show the zazzle mockups with people in them.Screenshot_20250601_115837_Chrome.jpg

I did know about that but my Placeit designs have people - just ones that look more like me - old. 😆 I did have a question though. It puts my Placeit design as the primary. Is there a way to eliminate the additional views that show the younger models? I tried clicking on that and to check the Do not display...people but it bring up my Placeit photo and not the younger one. Am I making sense? 😉

@oldladybiz  To make your cover photo the primary one and to remove the younger lady's photos, do as @SJoy suggested.

Edit details - product merchandising - change options - make sure your cover photo is selected. Press OK then make sure the "Do not display any product images with people." box is checked - then check the box for User Agreement - then click Done.

Okay, probably being dense here, but if I check that box is it going to affect my Placeit design that also has an image of a person? Or does that only apply to Zazzle's mockups with people?

@oldladybiz  It won't change it - it only applies to Zazzle's

Perfect! Thank you.

I'm assuming it may take time to change as I've done it and the younger model's photo still appears.

@oldladybiz  it could do - it depends if the site is behaving itself.

@oldladybiz  to change it in your collection - remove it then re add it making sure the cover photo is selected when you do

Tried that but younger model still showing. Will wait a bit to see if it is updated as I know it sometimes takes time for changes.

@oldladybiz  Your new cover photo is now showing in your collection

Yes, I know my cover photo is showing but my question is how to hide the other views of the younger model shown below my image (see screenshot below). I checked the box, "Do not display any product images with people."

@oldladybiz  After you checked the box - did you press done? (i.e saved it)

I did one yesterday - and the younger model images disappeared as expected.

I did delete the original to try starting over to see if that would make a difference. It did not.

That's interesting. I had tried it also with the men's long-sleeve shirt and have the same issue. https://www.zazzle.com/old_is_not_a_4_letter_word_white_lettering_tri_blend_shirt-256479726545936735

@oldladybiz  It's because you are choosing the "tri blend" option (a newer product) which is why I think they are misbehaving.

You could test it with a different men's long sleeve - basic long sleeve

Sara_H_0-1748957620692.png

(easy to change- no need to create a new listing - edit details - product merchandising - change options - change to basic long sleeve - check box - do not display etc - press done

edited to add - when I change the shirt to a basic long sleeve t-shirt - no younger model

Sara_H_1-1748957825731.png

It's the bella canvas tri-blend long sleeve that's the problem

I appreciate you taking the time. I like the tri-blend quality better so I will contact Technical Support but may do a Basic shirt for display purposes. Thank you again for your help!
