Products will not move to new category

I am revamping my shop and created new categories. I tried to move many products to the new categories yesterday. 15 hours later and these new categories are still empty. The products remain in their old categories. Do I just need to wait longer for them to be indexed or is this a site error?

@epicdesigns When things are great indexing happens in less than a day.  Relatively normal indexing is 24 - 48 hours.  When things are wonky indexing can take a week or sadly sometimes longer.

I created a new category yesterday and added new products (not moving them, just making new ones). They also did not go into the new category; still empty a day later. So, a category glitch.

Thank you, everyone. Everything moved sometime between 24-48 hours into the new categories. I will just remind myself to anticipate a delay next time.

I've given up on organizing my stores because of this issue. You used to be able to move designs around easily in the backend and it would show up in minutes. Now I have categories with 2 or 3 things in them because Zazzle wants us to delete so many things, and when I try to move them to a different category it doesn't work or I have to wait days.

This is now a chronic problem that has not been resolved for months.  I'm just starting an items/category reorganization so came here to find out how to do this, but it seems it is still ongoing.  Rebecca (moderator) are there any formal updates on this issue?
