can't add new products to new collection

I created new products and collections, unfortunately I can't add products to the collection because when I try to add from the product position (action menu - add to collection) it shows the info 'not eligible' next to the collection, and when I want to add new products from the collection position, no products appears. Does anyone have a similar problem?

@joana  I think what you're missing is patience. It could be that the new products haven't full indexed yet and the new collection hasn't indexed yet either?

The site could be on a slow day and it could be taking longer than usual.

Give it a couple of days and try again

What @Sara_H says and you may need to check if the collection you like to add it to allows products from that particular store you want to add it from.
