Can't delete empty store category

I have deleted all the products from a store category many days ago and I still get this message "There was an error deleting your category. Please make sure your category is empty and try again." when trying to delete the category from my store.  I thought if I waited awhile it would catch up and realize that there were no products in that category and allow me to delete it but that doesn't appear to have been the case. I've been trying to delete my Face Masks category.  It says "Sorry, no products found." which is correct because I did delete them all since they hadn't sold in years to make room for other stuff in the store.

When Zazzle discontinues and then deletes product lines, sometimes our categories contain 'ghost products' that we can't see but the system can.

If you can give a link to your store category that's misbehaving - I'm sure the tech team will investigate it and clear it out on your behalf

I normally just rename and hide that category and ignore it if it won't delete 😂

I am trying to reorganize my store categories and add new cover photos. However, it will not allow me to delete the old categories. For the products that were attached, I updated it to reflect the new categories. However, it will not allow me to attach my products to the new store categories I created.  https://www.zazzle.com/store/paperandpomp/products. The pink square boxes is how I want my categories to appear. As you can see I have a number of categories listed. @MsSnazzy  these are the categories currently on your store front

I do know there's an indexing delay with creating new categories - it normally takes about a week for the changes to hit your store front but currently it could take longer.

Make sure there's products in your new cats to help it index (again - could take a while)

Don't know which 'ghost product' is in your Invitations & Party Goods category - suggest you just rename the category and use as normal putting a new cover image - again - it will take time for changes to happen

btw - There's a typo in your Mailing Accessories category image - it says Mailing Acessories - you need another 'c'

I've now also found it's not letting me delete an empty store https://www.zazzle.com/store/chickenluv there should be no products in the store but I get this message "You have products in this store. In order to delete a store you need to delete all the products in it."  I don't know if they are connected issues or two separate bugs.  Thanks.
