Hello, All! Newbie to the forum (and Zazzle) here. Is anyone having issues when designing candles with the "layers" feature? I have made the same changes over and over but although it shows my changes in the design tool itself, and says all changes are saved, they don't show up on the previews of my product. When I click "done" they don't show up on the finished product, so I can't list it for sale. =,(
Items I pulled all the way forward are not appearing that way in finished product.
I don't know if you can see it in the small preview at the lower right, but the angel's fan that I pulled as far forward as it could go (and which shows pulled forward in the design window) shows wedged between the gold tinsel ring and her neckline. The same with the pink flower in her hair. It's behind her head in the preview, but only on the candle's "back" view. When working on the angel for the "front" of the candle, it worked fine. I stopped several times and went back to it in my saved products to continue editing the design, sometimes hours later. Each time, it lets me pull those items all the way forward again and says changes are saved, but same outcome. I am designing the entire candle from the "full" view in the design tool, (not placing any images using the individual "front" and "back" of the candle layer views.) I don't think that should make a difference. I wanted my design to fit perfectly spacing-wise and for the print in the background to match at the seam. Designing from the full panoramic view is the best way I could find to make that happen. I managed all of that, but not this other simple little thing with the layers, which was previously working fine. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I'm not sure what you're talking about because it's so very difficult to see details in the image, though I did notice that the flower in the angel's hair on the preview is behind the hair. Have you checked your layers carefully, making sure those that show in the front are at the very top of the layers list?
If no one can help you by viewing your image, perhaps you could publish the product using "direct only" and then give a link to it so we can take a detailed look. If the problem is found, you can edit the product and then publish the corrected version as a public product, then delete the direct-only version.

Yes. Do this. It can probably be solved if others can go into the design tool.

Thanks Barbara and @KeegansCreation. I am just an idiot, is all! And tired, I guess. 🙄 It turns out the issue was there were TWO angels. They were in PRECISELY the same location, perfectly stacked. I knew the angel (the one I knew about) was pushed back, so I didn't understand why things I pulled forward wouldn't show. The other angel (that I didn't realize was there) was on the very top and that's why the other items appeared behind it. I had pulled them forward as far as they could go, until the "forward" button grayed out. But the 2nd unknown-about angel was also pulled all the way forward, apparently. (And it seems she had priority over the smaller items, for some reason.) Removing her fixed everything. The other angel was underneath and the flower in her hair and her fan were out in front of her the whole time. Silly me!

It's like looking all over for your glasses until, with a deadpan look, says "Check the top of your head." Been there, done that.

Haha! Yep. Like that. I don't have that particular issue, though, because I got glasses before I was 2 years old and am now legally blind without them, and can barely make out shapes. If I'm awake, they're on my eyes! (But if I don't put them in an easy place when I go to sleep, it's REALLY hard to find them!) Thanks for your replies. 😃

I require three different prescriptions: near, middle, and far. The correct pair of glasses, I've learned, must and without exception, always be placed in the same spot when I take them off so I can find them again.

Extremely important, no question! That could be an option for me, as well (3 prescriptions.) And then I could get rid of these unsightly (no pun intended!) lens lines. But I'm too lazy to keep up with all of those glasses, I suppose. 🧓🏻 I've resigned myself to wearing the trifocals now!
