Not sure if this is a tech issue or a pricing choice by Zazzle.
I wanted to buy myself some 4x3 post it notes and also give 1 as a gift.
I removed my name from one post it notes as I was giving one as a gift.
The other one I left my name on it.
The price was about $1.24ish more for customization with name.
My default design has my name as dummy text for someone to delete and or edit.
Error? Or has there always been an extra fee for customizing?
I made the purchase anyway. I purchased one of each... name and no name... plus a larger one for me..with my name.

Hey @Mistica,
Apologies for the delay here. Can I please ask you to share a link to the product so we can investigate?
Thank you.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for noticing. Here is one link. I thought it was a Zazzle thing. I only tested 2 products.
It might be the base price if someone bought it without ANY customization.

https://www.zazzle.com/create_your_own_stemless_wine_tumbler-256418761810045011 no design...fresh
with something slapped on...and PUBLISHED
https://www.zazzle.com/a_thermal_wine_tumbler-256735465118921147
but I think it is a policy.
Yesterday I was going to make my first short thermal tumbler.
The price was $16 ish. Then I added images etc. The price was still the same.. Then I hit sell it...and did a quick publish it form. AFTER being published the price jumps up.

Hey @Mistica,
Thank you for sharing the examples above.
I believe this is due to the royalty being applied to the product after being posted for sale. I took the post-it note you published for sale and removed all of the design and even blank the price stays the same:
When I go to a blank post-it note that has not been published for sale, the price is lower, without the royalty:
Hopefully this helps and please let me know if there are any other questions.
