Foil Posters: Incorrect background re-filling at orientation switching

Fiorenzo

When switching from one orientation to a different one (e.g. hor to vert and back or square to hor or vert), a filled background image gets wrongly refilled. Depending on what orientation we start and how we switch and if we switch back, the results are different. The square shape gives the most issues. I have created 3 screenshots with 3 different scenarios. The explanations are on the screenshots. I didn't publish a test product, the issues can be easily reproduced on a blank, simply add an image, fill and switch sizes/orientation.

Hey @Fiorenzo,

Thanks for flagging this. I believe that this is expected behavior and is similar to the issue raised here.

I will still pass it on to the team for improvement in the future.

Yep, I have noticed similar behavior on other products whenever square sizes come into play. I just found out that also objects such as shapes change in size and position when you switch from vertical to square and back to vertical. Please add the orientation option, this will help mitigate the issues in the meantime. Make sure you do NOT include the square option to either vertical or horizontal. Group together all horizontals, verticals and squares and limit the publishing to the chosen orientation. Thank you for all you do!
