The 'Last viewed date' statistic should be caught up. I just checked a few stores and it looks good to me.

Actually, the very last day they were recorded was on the 1st of March... not the 3rd.

making hidden products public, as well as the latest products sold are also not updating

I have a theory, after being so long here... I think it is linked to updates and changes, that is, new product lines or variations within a line. it Seems to cooincide...

We'd prefer that people don't guess at the reasons why something may be broken, because this can lead to bad information being spread around.

We do add new products to our site with frequency, but I don't believe that's the issue here.

Instead of making us all speculate about why so many things seem to be frequently broken on the site can't you please share a bit more about what’s actually going on?  That would prevent “bad information”.  The information vacuum is completely frustrating.

Can an admin tell us if we should or shouldn't be creating new products or making any changes when this happens please?

Could you please also ask what the strategy for publishing new content should be, as @mgdesigns asked?
I imagine newly published products with zero views for several days will not be doing well? Thank you.

It's working again for me, last viewed date 1 day ago now

Shifted 299 products into a new category (with subcategories) over a week ago, and although they're visible to me in store management mode, they're still not visible on my public storefront.

In contrast, the pet bandanas I've been creating these past few days have appeared on my public store without issue.
