Moving products into new/different categories is very slow, anyone else notice this?

I'm on a Mac and Chrome (latest version), and I move products out of a category into something else and put a √ mark beside the old category to delete it.  Because I know it takes days now...and I'll forget about it.  Sometimes I go back and nothing is changing, or it's so slow...or whatever.  Has anyone else been noticing how long it takes to move products around in the backend?

I've been trying to update some tags and descriptions and it keeps timing out on me - I get a "this page isn't responding" message because it takes so long for the page to come back to life after submitting a change. I've officially given up. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Recently, I moved about 30 products into four new categories and it took over a week and a half for all of the products to be migrated and visible to the public.
