My notifications bell icon has disappeared ... anyone else?

Just noticed that my notifications bell icon disappeared this evening ... anyone else?

Just noticed it too - not showing on vivaldi/opera (chrome based browsers).

it's still missing from my stores' backend.

the only icons visible in the upper right corner of my backend are language and region, chat, my account, and shopping cart.

ETA: I'm using the latest versions of Edge and Chrome.

If you are in your Earnings page it will not show... just in case you are there.

My bell is still there but still not functioning.

When you say the bell is not functioning, do you mean that you are not getting notifications?

Mine is working. Chrome on iPad.

I still see it when I'm in my stores. I don't think it's ever appeared on earnings or profile pages, for me at least. It doesn't appear if I browse on my phone anywhere but in the navigation menu. Safari on Mac and iPhone.

For a brief moment this morning, I saw the notifications bell icon and the alerts that I've missed seeing over the past 2 days on my stores' backend, but it disappeared on me again after I refreshed the backend. Logged out and logged back in but nada. Back to square one.

please note, the notifications bell icon is still missing from my stores' backend
(and as a result, I haven't been able to get any notifications since February 22).

the screengrab above shows all the icons that would normally be appearing in the upper right corner of my stores.
I believe that the notifications bell icon should be between the globe and chat icons.

The notifications function will only appear when you are on Zazzle.com, it isn't available on other domains. Can you see if this is the issue for you please?

The bell has been gone for a while now, though I can't say for how long. I only noticed it was missing about a week ago. Nice while it lasted, particularly because it gave alerts to "stale" products.

I have two Zazzle announcements in my Bell's notification. On from February 8th and the other from the 16th. At one point I could scroll down and see past notifications. Now I just have the two and no more.

I too have no notification bell.
On laptop using windows too, and Chrome. All up to date.

As a test, try changing to another browser, see if that gets the little “ding dong” working again.

@idraw already tried on three browsers not downloading any more - hate edge with a passion . I'll just have to learn to live without it. It's probably windows doing something to stop it if it works on mac ok. I'm not delving in the registry to try and fix it. Got promos to make 😂

@idraw I did try edge browser which has no extensions installed at all and still no bell. 😕 A true mystery

Replying to myself as I can't edit - opening developer tools on the browser - getting errors - so maybe an adguard setting or another extension that's blocking the bell 'ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT' unless Z has changed the code to include a tracker type bot. Who knows.

Deep diving further - the code for the bell isn't in the header so methinks it's a Z thing? Very confused by it all. Anyway - I'm stepping away from it now - if it's gone for me - it's gone for me .

update: my notifications bell icon is still missing when I'm logged into my Windows 11 laptop.

however, yesterday was the first time in over a month that my Android 11 phone actually showed notifications (well over 69 of them)!

so it's a partial solution for me. still, would be nice to have the notifications bell icon back for my laptop.

if you have a smartphone, can you try to see if you get notifications on that device?

it seems to me like this issue is something that affects international/non-U.S. designers!

ETA: and just as quickly as I wrote "international/non-U.S. designers", I am reminded that Colorwash had the same issue ... except hers did eventually get restored (lucky lucky!)

Yes I've tried my iphone and nothing - nada- no notifications. I thought it was something to do with non US designers (we're always at the bottom of the pile - lol)

Ouch. I wish I could say it was affecting just the non-US designers, but alas no. Still a mystery to me.
