New Seller – Issues with Digital Download Settings

Hi there, fellow Zazzler's (and Zazzle tech support)!

I am a relatively new creator and have experienced what I'm sure is a one-off technical issue. When creating products, I always select 'enable this product for instant download'; however, I noticed that in my live store, none of the products I've enabled for digital download are actually appearing this way. I have gone through all settings, and have attempted to select 'Enable All' on my products tab page within my storefront but the button disappears just as quickly as it appears, and I'm unable to click and move forward. I have a gut feeling I'll need some help from Zazzle's technical team to ensure my digital-enabled products are truly enabled for digital and live on the site.

Also, it's worth mentioning that when I select 'Eligible' within my products tab page for Instant Download Settings, it states 'Sorry, no products found' but when selecting 'Enabled', all products I previously enabled are visible. When viewing my store as an outsider, the digital download option is not visible.

This is either a technical issue, or the result of being a new creator (I am approximately 1 1/2 months in to zazzling); however I believe it's the former and not the latter.

If indexing is slow (which again could be the case) it can take up to 72 hours (or possibly longer) for changes to digital downloads in the marketplace.

If you have all the settings enabled - they will become downloadable eventually - just don't know when.

Though it is always helpful for Zazzle's Tech team if you can link to one of your products that's having issues so they can investigate it behind the scenes just in case there is a problem with it.

@SilverandRain Not sure why then. As long as you started from a blank that was downloadable in the first place, then they should be. 

Did you first create them on the .com site or the .ca site? (I see you're in Canada) that might have something to do with why they're broke. 


Am sure the Tech Team will look into it for you now they have the links.

@Sara_H  – Yes, they were created from blanks and enabled for digital download from the onset with standard royalty set. Although I'm in Canada, they were created on .com. I am hopeful the team will reach out soon.

Hi @SilverandRain,

Our team have asked if you can go to one of the effected products and go to edit details > Instant Downloads and ensure that the enabled option is selected. If this option is not selected, it will need to be turned on.

Hi @Mark, of all the products I checked, only 1 was set to disabled (which I have now enabled). This unfortunately does not solve the issue, as none of the products are appearing as available for instant download on the live site.

Scratch that – suddenly they're all appearing as available as of a few seconds ago. Thanks for correcting this (not sure what you did, but I appreciate it!)

I'm having the same problem. For some reason my Christmas cards are downloadable. Bu my  Thank you cards are not.  Fay

I am sorry to hear about this issue. Would you please be able to share links to some of the products that are not eligible for downloads?

There's certain paper product lines that are not available for digital downloads and for some reason thank you cards are one of them (eg if you started your design on a flat thank you card - they're not eligible for download)

I'm hopeful that this may change in the future @Mark ?
