I receive daily bell notifications regarding products that may require optimization. When I click on this link or via the product visibility section I have noticed that the list of items is no longer updating. Is this a technical issue or just the system lagging?

I have noticed for almost a year now our own clicks to our own products do not count towards the "last view date". The newly optimized products will continue to have the red "viewed date" until someone from your promotion efforts or MP clicks to view that product.
This may be helpful as to making sure we know exactly when a stranger clicked on our product and whether to keep it alive or deleted. However, without our being able to give it a bump after reworking the meta data that product will be dead in the water within the MP. This is why it's so important to promote your products off of the Zazzle website.

The issue seems to have resolved itself. I guess it just took a few days to update.

My optimization list has depleted but not the "view dates" which still have the old red dates.

Yes, my dates don't update either. I even tried viewing the product in another browser, logged out, and they still show the red not-viewed-in-a-long-time date!

The only way that red date text goes away Connie is if someone (not you) views the product. I did several tests to find this out. So we have to surmise that our views don't count towards the "view count" any longer.
Which is a shame because it used to give our newest products a small boost in the MP. I'm wondering if this is why so many creators have had their sales drop. I people are optimizing their hidden products with new meta data but their own click still leaves the product at the bottom of the heap.
I don't know... I'm just guessing.
