Received an email saying i have a message but no message in chat

Hi 

I received an email from you yesterday zazzle@tn.send.zazzle.com assuming this is you but didn’t click through as i like to avoid click through to websites from emails just in case. It said i had a new message, in the email i could see the senders name and the beginnings of a message like. I went to my chats/messages via my shop but could not find this message, a few hours later i have a new message posted at a different time from a different person with no content and still no sign of the original message.
