I don't seem to be able to get this feature to work. I submit a product with a new font and it just stays the same and although the altered product is in saved designs it never shows up in "under review" and I have no idea if or when there will be an email about this, nor if the new font will stick. It's impossible to keep track of things this way. Could this please be clarified? Thank you.

Hi Anne. When you choose 'replace product' it doesn't go into 'under review' but it should show up in the back end product pages like this example. Once it's been reviewed the overlaid message will disappear and your product will be in it's original position in your stores back end:

Thank you, Baylee. However, I get the same result as Barbara: nothing has changed after the overlay disappears. Also no notification of rejection

Anne, because if you redo such a product, it's likely to come back changed to what you want, I'd say the products aren't being rejected. Instead, it appears they fall through a hole the first time around. It requires double the effort for it to take. Unless it's an item that absolutely must be replaced, I'm not about to bother doing it at all, not until the operation runs smoothly.

Combined with having to remember exactly which page the product is on and then navigate to it, you may find the under-review overlay has disappeared and so have the changes you've made.

FYI, products you have used "modify design" tool with will not show under "Under Review" in your Saved Designs page.

Hello -

I've had great success generally speaking the past few weeks getting my product updates to show up properly, however the following products simply seem to be stuck. I've redone them three times, resubmitting each time. They show review pending for an hour or two, then revert to no review pending and no change. The others in this series have all modified correctly. Requesting Zazzle to take a peek, please. If there is somewhere else I should request this, please let me know. Thank you.

I've had to do a few of mine 2 or 3 times for them to stick. And I've also noticed that 1st the gray box is there, then it goes away, sometimes it comes back again, the thumbnail in the backend changes to what it should be but then you click on it & it's not changed, and then finally the modified date in the backend changes & a day after that, all's good. This is over the span of anywhere from 1 to 4 or 5 days. But eventually, everything that I made modifications to, worked.

I had the same problem using the replace product tool, some of the changes happened immediately and some took up to 5 days. Some, I had to redo a couple of times, before they changed. I've only got 1 rejection, because someone was buying the product, when I was trying to modify it.

I did notice if you make any changes late at night, on a Friday afternoon or on the weekend, those will not change immediately, they take longer and sometimes will not change at all. So, I make any changes to designs Monday - Thursday, during the day and have better luck and don't encounter as many problems.

Hi, can someone please give an update on this new "Replace Product" tool?  Is it open to everyone yet?  I've hoped for something like this for years!  

I've clicked on some of my items via Edit Design tool but still do not see anything saying Replace Product. 

I've been seeing for awhile now something new saying "Modify Design" at the top of product page before clicking Edit Design...I'm not sure what this is because while in Edit Design mode you can make changes to text or design, and at top is a newer tab All Changes Saved to click on (or can still click on Done like normal).  What is Modify Design?  What is All Changes Saved?  Is this different than the Replace Product tool?  I was thinking it was but am confused by the new changes, and what some may or may not see.

Can someone show a screen image of where to find Replace Product wording area that you would click on or something while in Edit Design?  And what to do with it the Replace Product link for those still unsure, like myself.  

If I don't have this new "Replace Product" feature enabled via my store yet, when will it be available for all designer's to use?

P.S.  I miss the old forums. It was so much better and much easier to find a topic in various categories, and faster!  Now it's so time-consuming with so much scrolling and harder to find topics...  I feel like I saw another thread on this Replace Product topic a month or so ago, with designer's asking if and when it would be available for all designer's yet because they wanted it too, but I can't find it anywhere, and way too much scrolling to try reading much anymore, for me anyway!

Tamira - After you edit an EXISTING design and click DONE the Product page will show you the options to edit/sell/Replace (see below)

Thank you BKMuir!  For your quick and very easy way to see and understand the Replace Product new feature some designer's have now!  I just tried editing one of my older designs with minimal changes of font and background color.  But sadly, I do NOT have the Replace Product tab you showed me yet.  I only have the Edit and Sell tabs.  I'm on my smartphone but don't think that should affect it not being there.  I hope we all get this much needed Replace Product tab soon and that it will be here to stay!  I sent Zazzle a suggestion email in the past asking if we could please have a feature such as this.  Thank you again for your help!  Much appreciated.  Tamira
