Somebody BETTER FIX THIS

I have noticed no sales lately of wedding invitations. I was just checking on my best selling invitations and not one of them is anywhere to be seen. They are not in my store or in any of the collections. I am going to check some more but I am fuming. There are dozens of missing invitations that are probably missing for quite awhile.   The RSVPs are showing up and the Bridal shower but the invites that usually sell by the 100s are gone.  HELP

I just realized the last sale of one of my invitations was for a single invite. Didn't really think much about it. I am now looking back at my sales and all of the invitations have been deleted.  WHO DELETED THEM?????? WHERE DID THEY GO AND WHO SUDDENLY HAS THE RIGHT TO DELETE THEM?

this might be what happened, you probably used a discontinued font and your products were deleted by zazzle…

Yes, did you use any decorative swashes, dingbats, etc. from Sugar Plum extras? Because every product that I had made using just one, single character from that font disappeared within a 15-20 minute time frame one evening around that time. No warning. I recreated what I could. It sucks because some of them were decent sellers & of course, I lost my ranking & stats with the recreated products.

Sorry this happened to you. I design all of my products outside of the Zazzle design tool. I only use Zazzle’s design tool to add text and set up template items. That way, if my designs disappear for any reason, I have the original vector file or layered Photoshop file on my laptop. It’s easy to make the required fixes and repost the item. I keep MS word files that contain my titles, tags, and product descriptions. So, I save those, too. I also back up my files once a week.

I wouldn’t count on them coming back… I just recreated a whole category in one of my stores that vanished because of a swoosh from Sugar Plums..

First let me say I wish I could change the title of this because I was so upset and not thinking last night. 

I just figured out how much my sales made came to for these these deleted longer listed items. $9460.19  - that is a lot of lost future sales. Now I have to wait three months for anything to get back into the system. I thought that a well run company would have been able to replace the text with a generic text instead of deleting it. I guess it will take more time wasted to keep complaining and trying to get some justice than just doing the stuff over again.  I finished one and thought I would share it - I also got it done in pink and green, silver is next. If you are in same place re-creating items please share them here. I will add them to my Pinterest boards.  GOOD LUCK to all who are in a similar situation.

PS  - I wish there was a way to link old items to the remakes so when buyer follows something on one of my boards, my blogs or social media posts they don't come to no longer exists type page.   Just a thought for technical - I hope they allow this post to run.

Oh my gosh. That is so sad. I'm sorry it happened to you.

I don't think at this point I'd even know what I'm missing!

Second re changing the title when mad, could be worse. I recently accidentally included my new next door neighbor in an email to someone else when I was mad at the destruction her 3 year remodel was doing to my pups and me. We no longer speak .... oh well.

Many of us have been affected by the deletion without notice, I don't even know which or how many of mine have gone to be able to replace them. But I do know I have used this font and swashes.

My very best selling ornaments vanished because of this.  I only realized this a few days ago.  Heartbreaking.  I couldn't understand why I had not seen any sold.  Went looking for them...gone...

I recreated some new ones but lost all the stats of those best selling ones ...this late in the season I don't even expect the new ones to get seen.

In an attempt at work / life balance, I haven't followed the forum closely. Just now noticed when evaluating my top sellers that many of them were deleted, and yes they were ones with discontinued swooshes. I'm so disappointed that I wasn't notified of the takedown, because I missed being able to at least recreate a few favorites before the holidays. 😟

@PopParrot, No one received a takedown notice. And unfortunately, it wouldn't have mattered that you weren't on Zazzle when it happened. When they took mine down because of the swooshes, it happened swiftly within a 1/2 hour. I just happened to have been working on Zazzle at the time & started noticing their disappearances. I was able to take screen snaps of some of them before they disappeared forever so I could recreate them. Some of them had sold decently for me as well. The new, recreated ones did not sell at all.

Ouch. Maybe the algorithm frowned upon your recreations because it saw them as duplicates, even though the originals were gone. I'm thinking I'll just move forward with new designs loosely inspired by the ones that were lost, rather than trying to recreate them. Thanks for sharing your experience, @Marcia
