Classic LOVE Motif with a Modern Twist by 1234Shine On Tuesday, I noticed Zazzle (by Zazzle, I mean Zazzle alrigothm) has put some of my listings under the "Wedding" department. For example, this shirt was in: Weddings > Décor & Party Supplies > Party & Shower Supplies > Bridal & Wedding Shower Supplies. That was a big mistake by itself because there's no clothing within the Wedding department, so I moved it to "Clothing & Shoes" where it belongs. Last night, after reading a post from @MasterpieceCafe , I checked this listing and Zazzle has once again put it back to Weddings > Décor & Party Supplies > Party & Shower Supplies > Bridal & Wedding Shower Supplies, so I switched it back to Clothing & Shoes. I checked my listing around 7am this morning: Zazzle has so efficiently thrown it back to "Wedding" again. I changed it back to Clothing & Shoes for the 3rd time, but at this point, I know most likely I'm just wasting my time... This shirt is an "Evergreen" design. People could buy it for anyone they "LOVE", for any occasion to show "LOVE": Valentines, Mother's Day, friends, teachers, birthday, bridal showers, colleague retirement etc. But when someone purchases this for grandma birthday, friends, or just for themselves, they are actually buying a "Wedding" product, according to Zazzle. Isn't it weird? I know this happened probably because I had "bridal shower" in the tag. Zazzle has been emphasising and reminding us creators over and over again how important it is to optimize our listings. Well, while I optimizing my listing with "bridal shower" to reach more potential customers, I was also, unknowingly, optimizing my royalty deduction to 50% in 3rd party sales. My "Search Engine Optimization" has turned into "Royalty Deduction Optimization." Wow, did not really see that coming...

The Photo below shows royalty deduction percentages from two of my recent '3rd Party' sales of the same product (No product transfer, No add-on item.) On the 06-18-25 sale, Zazzle deducted 45% off my original default royalty for whatever fees they charged, and it did not stop there; apparently, Zazzle did NOT think 45% deduction was high enough. On 07-12-25, I got another sale of the exact same product (not transfered product), and Zazzle increased the fee deduction rate from 45% to 55%. It's like a slap in my face - am I being penalized for making recurring sales? So, Dear Zazzle, here are my Simple Humble Questions and if you could give your pompot and honest replies, I will really appreciate it: - Zazzle applied two different royalty deduction rates on my sales of the same product within only a 3.5 week period, so which one was correct? 45%? 55%? Both? Neither? - Zazzle has increased the royalty deduction rate of the SAME product from 45% to 55% within 3.5 weeks. What exactly was that additional 10% for? - When I sell this product again next time, what percentage is Zazzle going to take out from my original default royalty? 45%? 55%? Or a surprise?

How do I get my store items to appear in the search algorithm product list that I sell on Zazzle, please? I go on the main site for example and type beach towels and type daisy; my design only displays after I type Gaia, and my design appears by itself. How do I get my designs to be featured next to other similar items on this site, as a choice like the other sellers? Do I need to tweak my tags? What other suggestions, please? Thank you for your time. Blessings. 🙂

I am having problems whenever I try to design or sell a product here. The new hold and press button, allows me to sign into my stores but while I am either creating an item or go to sell it, the press and hold button keeps popping up, so I have to keep re-signing into my stores. This is not a great feature when I am already logged in and wish to work on designs I am making or wish to publish to sell. Is there any thing that can be done to keep this from happening over and over again? Thanks For Any Help You Can Give.

Is anyone else still waiting on their cleared earnings to be paid? I've been with Zazzle for over 13 years and my payment has always been at least "pending" by the 7th of every month. What's more strange is that I got an email on the 9th saying "We're excited you just set up your payment method for the sales you'll make" and asking me to review my payment information so they can get me "set up" in their system?? I went directly to Zazzle - (didn't click any email links) and verified that everything looked ok, which it did... obviously didn't change anything. But here I am, on the 16th without even a pending debit. I'm well over the $50 threshold. As if it's not bad enough with all the royalty structure changes, and now making next to nothing... Zazzle - if you could provide a response, I'd be grateful.

Help! I recently upgraded my computer and lost all of my original images from an application that was dropped. I have been weeks trying to recover the application files and it looks like it is impossible. The only images I have of these files are in my Zazzle image files. How can I download my images from my Zazzle image albums? I have downloaded my images from my image albums in the past but cannot figure out how to do it with the new Zazzle site changes. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. KatiChel

I haven't designed any bookmarks because I can't imagine people buying them, not at over three dollars each. Can any of you report sales on them? Colorwash's Home Colorwash on Benable Benable invite link

For years, in the layout, we couldn't orient tissue paper to vertical. But when you go to sell the product, on the left side, you could choose vertical. This morning, suddenly, it changed. You can orient vertical in the design layout. And that would be fine except all my tissue paper that are in the marketplace, that I couldn't orient to vertical in the design layout, now appear horizontal. So I have to go to all my fake horizontal tissue paper that are in the marketplace to change all of it?

The answer is a simple yes or no - is Zazzle interested to know of shops selling all white/black products? (Or any other single color for that matter.) If yes, how do we report them? The current "Report this design" function does not seem to be working, as many of us found out, because these shops are still there weeks after a report been sent (hence my original question). Is there another way to do it so we can rely on action being taken? I just wonder, and I know I am not the only one, if it is worth my time reporting shops with no design at all on their products.

I was wondering if anyone knows if Zazzle can remove a negative review, since it's not my fault the customer's product was damaged during shipping. I don't like seeing 1 star under the whole collection 😞 and it has an effect on sales, they are way down.

With there being so many types of ornaments, are all the types being given the actual type at the end of the titles? Recently I transferred some designs to new ceramic ornaments, and I noticed that the type "ceramic" was left off. It just said ornament added to the title. Are we supposed to add the type of ornament? Or could this be a transferred design thing? If the type of ornament is going to be let off, that's new to me. I know my titles on the transferred designs had plenty of room to add ceramic, and this is why I'm writing.

I just discovered that with the Instant Download (not my own) that I purchased from Zazzle over two years ago, that I can go in to the Design Tool to edit it and add any of the backgrounds provided by other Creators. And then I can re-download with that background in use. I was extremely surprised by this. It is my understanding that the background designers get paid each time their background is added to a purchased product. In this case, a product is being purchased but I am able to go in after the fact and add their background, for which they then aren't getting paid for. I found this page, Secondary Content FAQS, which says How much does Digital Content cost? Digital Content is free of charge for digital downloads. If Digital Content is free, do Creators still earn a royalty for their work? Creators don’t earn a royalty when their Digital Content is downloaded – but they do earn royalties when their Digital Content is added to physical products and purchased. but it's all in reference to the Zazzle Create feature which pre-dates Instant Downloads by over 3 years. The Create feature launched in December 2019, Instant Downloads weren't launched until March 2023. So the above terminology doesn't address actual Instant Downloads which aren't a "physical" product, but are a product being purchased. If one customizes a design to include a background and then purchases it as an Instant Download, the background creator would earn a royalty. But if one purchases it first and then adds the background, they won't. Is this right? That seems really weird. It doesn't matter to customers as it's a free element to them any way it shakes out, but to the background creator who would be earning a share of the royalty, and to the original creator whose royalty gets dinged if they do, this is an interesting situation.

Sorry in advance if you've come across this question somewhere before. With all the discussion (and rants) over AI, I sometimes use it as an integrated part of whatever I'm designing at the moment—never wanting to use it as a crutch. I remember seeing somewhere about using the tag #generativecontent. I've never used it, but instead, at the end of my product descriptions, I conclude with 'This design was implemented with the assistance of a generative artificial intelligence program along with various design software.' Is this still acceptable? Also, has anyone ever made sales with such disclosures?

3 questions In starting a new store, what is a good general practice - should you stick with just a few products (ie mug, sticker) with multiple designs or multiple products with same design. I doubt I'm correctly expressing myself. I am just starting and so far have multiple designs on basically 1 product with just a couple other products. Before I got too far into the process, I want guidance in a logical approach. Since my design might not size properly on multiple products, should I choose Sell This Design on this style only or this style & size only preventing the customer from changing from say a button to a tshirt? My thoughts are I should select that option and then have separate listings for the button and the tshirt. Or is this incorrect thinking? I am having difficulty understanding "Show Customize Button". Should I always have it checked?
