I’m hoping someone can help me sort out something I’ve been hearing. A few creators have mentioned to me that Zazzle is phasing out lifestyle mockups or cover images, but I haven’t been able to find anything official to back that up. I’ve searched everywhere I can think of, and so far nothing points to an actual announcement or policy change. My own lifestyle mockup posts are still up and active, and the official Zazzle YouTube channel still has videos that teach how to create cover images, mockups, and collection visuals. Everything I can see publicly still supports using them. Because of that, I’m trying to understand whether this is a real update from Zazzle or just something that’s been passed around and misunderstood. If there has been an official statement or forum post about phasing out lifestyle mockups or cover images, I’d really appreciate someone pointing me to it. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help clear this up. Susan

I just started a second store, and I am finding that when I post a product for sale it is not always appearing in my storefront (the backend, not just the public side). I can find the listings by clicking on them in my list of recently visited products, and they are listed there as being for sale in my store. I have tried reposting and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I can't figure out why it is only working some of the time. And just FYI I do have "all" clicked under product visibility so I know I'm seeing everything that's there. Any suggestions appreciated.

Should products with placeholder images created with AI be tagged "generativecontent?" All the products are set to force the customer to replace the image(s). Thank you.

I am trying to help a customer whose foam board poster will not arrive in time for their event. Trying to transfer it onto a poster that can be digitally downloaded. I have tried several paper posters and they do not have the instant download format showing. I also tried the value paper poster and it shows 2 different front images: front 1 and front 2. I did not understand how that worked? Any ideas? This couple is standing by waiting for me to send them a link to a downloadable poster. Thanks!

I just noticed this white line on the seams of my wrapping paper roll. I have it hidden. What would you do? It's got 53 views. Keep it listed as is or Make it again. Wish I didn't over-analyze these things. Thanks! @itsMolly

Hello! I've tried submitting some of my designs a couple times to be grouped into 1 "listing", but it doesn't seem to work. These designs are basically the same, with the background image changing & maybe a text color. Everything else is the same. Anyone have suggestions on why these might not be grouping?

On Nov 23rd one customer ordered two shirts. Those two had the "c" next to them so I think they were customized. On 12-6 they ordered two more of the shirt. There is no "c" by those two. Just saw that the shirt has "gray" over it and says 'design changes pending review.' (the shirt was created back in 2019) Last viewed date, last sold date and orders last 7 days all show the grayed out pic and message. Since I haven't changed anything why is this showing up on my end?

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here can help clarify an issue I’ve been struggling with regarding self-promotion links, ambassador IDs, and royalty attribution. At the moment, none of the sales I generate from my own shared links are paying out any referral royalties, and they are being misclassified in a way that makes no sense. The Issue Whenever I share my own product links—using the Share button on the product page or the Copy Link option—the resulting sales are showing up as: “Referred by a 3rd party” instead of self-promotion / creator referral As a result, I am receiving no referral royalties at all, even though the sale record shows a 50% marketing royalty applied. What’s Actually Happening Here is the exact sequence of events: When I shared links with my Ambassador ID: I received 15%, not 50%. Support told me this happened because including the Ambassador ID automatically categorizes the sale as cross-promotion, not self-promotion. I was then advised by support to stop using the Ambassador ID and to use the Share button instead for self-promotion. When I switched to using the Share button (no Ambassador ID): I started receiving zero referral royalties. Every sale I drove was labeled as “referred by a 3rd party.” This is incorrect, because these were links I personally shared. Zee (the virtual assistant) then told me the opposite — that I should include my Ambassador ID to earn the higher self-promotion rate (up to 50%). When I followed up again, support reversed the guidance again, saying I should not include my Ambassador ID because it will always be treated as cross-promotion (15%). So I have now received directly conflicting instructions from Zazzle on both sides, and meanwhile, my self-promotion sales are being misclassified and generating no referral royalties whatsoever. What I Need Clarified To resolve this, I’m hoping to get clear answers from moderators or other experienced creators: Why are self-promotion links being labeled as “referred by a 3rd party”? What precisely qualifies as a self-promotion link? Should creators include their Ambassador ID or not when promoting their own products? When a sale displays a 50% marketing royalty, should a referral royalty also appear? Is something in the system misattributing these links or overriding referral credit? And most importantly: What is the correct, official method for sharing our own products so we reliably receive our self-promotion royalties? Any insight, especially from moderators, would be incredibly appreciated. I just want to ensure the sales I generate are being attributed correctly and that I’m being paid the royalties I’m supposed to. Thank you, Jessica

Hi. I'm excited to design more Letterpress cards, but the first one I designed went under review along with several other items which have been sitting under review for months - some even years. I hope the Letterpress design won't take that long to review.

I was wondering if anyone knows if Zazzle can remove a negative review, since it's not my fault the customer's product was damaged during shipping. I don't like seeing 1 star under the whole collection 😞 and it has an effect on sales, they are way down.

I can remember being able to find my products in Market Place with regular, non-specific, searches. With that said, I have looked to find them this year using non photo in most of my Christmas card tags. No luck. I spent a few hours last night, seriously, doing searches in the MP. After manually putting "Christmas cards" in search, it took me four tries across the top to get to a non photo option. Some creators have non-photo in their Title, Description, and Tags. Some in only two and the majority in only the Tags. Then, I went to Zazzle main, scrolled down and clicked Shop Now at the 50% Christmas Cards, and there is a "Non-Photo Christmas" category. Awesome 😊 Q: is there a benefit to putting non photo in three areas of the listing or is two suffice or only in Tags? I can never remember which of these three pull the most weight in searches. Tags? I realize search results are not only about words in tags. 😉 My marketing efforts are no longer working for me. I plan to spend next year expanding Christmas to 50% of my stores and want to get things correct as far as searches. Thank you for any info. @itsMolly

I'm a few days old in Zazzle and it is a bit confusing. I'm working on creating my store, but when I pull a design it wants me to purchase rather than become a product in my store. What am I doing wrong?

I received an email about "early access black Friday deals" but I don't want to click a link and risk having my own purchase to be deemed 3rd party. Is there another way to see those deals?

I recently had sales with 440 invitation cards, zazzle made 1250 dollar And I made 57 dollar. Another one with 130 invitations, I made only 9,63 euro. With 6000 linkovers from pinterest I made only one referal of 1,10. So with this making the math, you can work all day long, with no reward. I have 3 shops, 6000 designs, work every day on it and get peanuts, because of all the fees zazzle takes. Because of the 3rd party sales, fees, marketing, you will get 5 percent of a sale. For one card you sell, you will get 5 to 10 cents. How many cards do I have to sell for 100 dollar? Yepp, 1000 invitation cards. A wedding average card demand is 20 to 40 cards, means 40 to 80 guests. To earn 100 dollar, I have to sell between 30-50 times my wedding invitations. That is a lot with all the competition. I make sales, yes, but it is very very low, I am still pro not even half to bronze. It is definitely not worth the time and money, but I like designing. Is this your experience, too?
