Re: This product 197522346145151294, sold on 4/20/22, order # 169-53298172-4847213
It sold with 1 order, only 1 ever, but in a quantity of 4. The royalty I received appears to be only for 1 towel order. I'm confused. Has it always been like this? I can remember when (I thought) towels came in a set of 3, but checking the website it says 1 towel now. Could it be a promo discount showing in the royalty history like this??
I just need someone to explain it to me? Or check that the website doesn't have an error on the quantity sold in the blue section at the top, or something. Many thanks, LauraLee

Hi @LauraLee ,
I have just taken a look at both the order and the Royalty shown on your end, and both are showing a quantity of 1 for me. Could you provide a screenshot of where you are seeing a quantity of 4 if possible? We'll be happy to take a look.

Thank you Emma. Quantity sold and Orders (all time) says 4 here....that's why I was confused if this blue box was incorrect somehow. -LauraLee

Hi Emma, I've posted the image weeks ago, and it's really odd that the quantity shows 4 sold, when I only got paid for 1, both in royalty and referral. I'd still like some more investigating on this, please. I'm still not sure what happened here, as it only sold one time. How did I get paid for one sale, and it's reported differently in our backend status? What needs to be right here? Thank you! -Laura

Towels are sold in sets or individually. Each individual towel and the set of three all have the same PID#. If one buys a set, it counts as 1 for Quantity Sold even though it's actually three towels.
One of my towel sets shows Orders All time = 2, Quantity Sold = 5, and that meshes with my sales history where I can see that Customer A bought three hand towels and Customer B bought one wash cloth and one bath towel for a total of 5 units over 2 orders.
I can also see that Customer B originally bought a set which showed as Quantity = 1 in my royalty report (verifying sets count as one unit sold) but minutes later cancelled that and instead ordered the one wash cloth and one bath towel.
Quantity Sold = 4 could be four sets or four individual towels or any combination. Also if someone transferred a design from a towel to something else, the credit for that would go on the towel making it appear it's been ordered more than it actually has. You'd have to go through your royalty history to figure out who bought what.

Thanks for this info ColsCreations. I guess I didn't say it, but it was kitchen towels. Sorry 'bout that. I can remember when they sold in a set of 3, I think...? But now, I don't see that anymore. The sale is a one off order - it's never sold before now. So, I'm confused mostly about the blue info at the top which couldn't be 4 towels (unless they sell as a set of 4 now or something like a buy one, get 3 free sale.). I really don't know. -Laura

I'm wondering if the Quatity Sold field is working. I show 2 of these being sold this month in my royalties - yet my quantity sold counter says 4. ???

Hi All-
So...have we determined it's the 'quantity sold' in the back end not calculating properly?

Hi @LauraLee,
I'm very sorry for the delay here. The product 197-52234614-5151294 was purchased twice in one order on 02/10/2023, once on 04/20/23 as you mentioned in your original post, once on 12/28/21, once on 12/08/21 and finally, once on 11/08/21. The product was purchased six times in five orders which matches up with the "Quantity Sold" and "Orders (all time)" quick stats. These are all recorded in your Royalty Report in your account so I hope this helps to understand the figures on the product stats.
Thanks for your patience.
Pádraig.
