Each time I replace already posted product, with a new cover photo I am prompted to "sell" it, again as if its a brand new item. Do we have to do that?

To replace just the cover photo
1. On the product page - press 'Upload Cover Photo'
2. Accept the full legal rights tick box - Click Upload Cover Photo
3. Navigate to or upload your cover photo and select.
4. Crop if needed - press ok
5. Cover Photo Upload Successful! pop up appears, press OK
6. 9 times out of ten - this process doesn't work and you have to repeat steps 1 - 5
7. Once the cover photo appears underneath the product in the first image slot, it's a success and you can either double check in the Edit Details that the Product Merchandising image has changed.
There's no replacing product or selling involved in the cover photo upload process.
Don't press edit, this process is nothing to do with the Replace Product.

Nothing seems to change on the original item that's already for sale, until I RE-post for sale. To me that's pretty odd. I absolutely DETEST posting items one by one to begin with, now I can't get the changes completed unless I do.

Oh thank you so much!! It worked but now my item isn't inside the cover photo. Its placed near the bottom like another view option, not on or in the main cover photo. UGGHH!!!

It will show up as the main image - it just takes time. Make sure that it's selected in the Edit Details - Product Merchandising image (it may be blank due to indexing - but select it and save - it will appear eventually - promise 🌻

Usually I have to go through the process a couple of times before the cover photo actually "sticks" and defaults to that view.

Hey @joniwarden,
Sorry to hear you are having issues with this. Would you be able to provide an example product and screenshots if possible?
Thanks!
